Is he still under contract with WWE?

He's under contract. Vince basically pays him to stay home and stay outta the WWE's business. Because if he did go to TNA then Vince might have a WCW type problem on his hands. Think of Heyman with TNA! They would easily get RVD, Sandman, Sabu, and Tommy Dreamer! I'm no TNA fan but that would definatley make me watch the show.

i think he is officially still under contract with wwe (but i dont know) they have no use for him, but they are paying him to stay home so that he doesnt go over to TNA. i think if he started up his own fed everyone would want it to be like the old ECW but i dont think he could pull it off, he certainly couldnt call it ECW since WWE owns the rights to the name, and he probably doesnt have the cash to raid the talent of WWE or TNA and get some of the old ECW guys back (could prolly get sabu, rvd and sandman, since none are contracted to either company)
long story short i think hes just cooling his heels waiting for his contract to expire then we will see what happens
