Answer is Yes. Philip is great x3 grandson to Queen Victoria, plus they are also related as descendants from king Christian IX of denmark.
His title is Prince Consort because he is husband to the Queen Regnant, rather than the actual Sovereign. It is a matter of custom, but usually, a male becomes King by marrying the heiress to a throne only in countries like France, where females are not permitted to bear the title of Sovereign.

No, Queen Elizabeth is decended from Germans whilst Phillip was a Greek, as the Queens Husband Philip is not royal and does not have the courtesy title of King in the way King wives are called Queens, however he is related to the Greek Royal Family hence the courtesy title of Prince.
There will be an interesting situation when Charles becomes King as will his wife Camel a become Queen, she looks like a Queen, as in a middle aged Trans sexual but does she deserve the title.

He can't be a King, because he would then have status over the Queen - who is the ruling monarch. You can only become King if you are actually born as heir to the throne. HIS wife can become Queen because her status would not be greater than his.
Prince Philip is Elizabeth's THIRD cousin, which is not unlawful and quite common - since third cousins are so far removed from each other there is no problem with the resulting children.
Diana was Charles 16th cousin..which barely registers.

A King outranks a Queen; the Queen is the ruling monarch and it's not cricket to have a royal who outranks the ruling monarch. Sexist but true.
Yes, they're distantly related. She is his his third cousin through Queen Victoria and second cousin, once removed through Christian IX of Denmark.
He is called Prince because that was the title she bestowed upon him in the late 50s. Before that, he was HRH the Duke of Edinburgh (a gift of Elizabeth's father, who also threw in the earldom of Merioneth and the baroncy of Greenwich). Before that he was "Lieutenant Phillip Mountbatten, R.N." and before that he was Prince Phillip of Greece.
He renounced his Greek title when he accepted British citizenship.
As for the ill-informed blather below about a requirement that spouses descend from royalty, this is codswallop. A monarch may marry a commoner.

They are 2nd cousins, once removed - not close enough to raise questions of incest in any country. He is a Prince because he was granted the title "Prince of the United Kingdom" in 1958, but the Royal Family never requested that he be given the title of King (technically, King Consort).

Actually, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip are second cousins once removed: they are both descended from Christian IX of Denmark. Queen Elizabeth is a great-great-granddaughter through her paternal great-grandmother Alexandra of Denmark, and the Duke is a great-grandson through his paternal grandfather George I of Greece.
Only the man who is head of state can be called "King". Philip is just husband of the head of state. So "Prince" is noble enough. :D

Royalty tends to intermarry with other royalty a good deal, so British monarch tend to have intermarried a good deal with foreign royalty. This is normal for royalty. I could not say whether Queen Elizabeth has more or less British blood than any other British monarch. Nor can I see that it matters. She was born in Britain, raised in Britain, has lived her entire life in Britain, and I cannot see how that makes her anything other than British.

They are not blood related. Philip arranged to meet a woman he considered fascinating on a safari in Africa. Her ruthless behavior towards the lions and other animals on the safari , slaughtering them without regard to sentience or territoriality, was thought by him to be "interesting" since he thought he could "tame" her. She was the hereditary title holder and not him so he became the "Prince of Wales" after the marriage.

Probably distant cousins through Queen Victoria. Come to think of it, most of European royalty is related to her, accept Scandinavia.

Yes, they are related. That is a requirement in the UK for royal marriages that the spouse must also descend from royalty. Lady Diana was also a cousin.
Philip is not the sovereign, Elizabeth is, so he gets a lesser title than she gets.
