My son is going to be a year old close to Halloween, and I would love to make him his first costume. I don't mind paying for a pattern if it isn't too outrageous, but finances are kinda tight. Does anyone know where to find patterns for cute/original costumes that are free or cheap? Thanks for the help.

By the way, my son should be about a size 12-18 mos

We just bought a 3 year old sheltie from a couple who had had her since she was a pup. We just got her last night. She is acating super scared of EVERYTHING i feel so bad! I knew it would be a bit tricky with her being 3 years old and only being with that family. The family sold her because they have a 14 mo. old and a 4 mo. old and she said she just does not have the time for her. She seems very depressed, lost and sad. I've played with her and taken her on MANY walks today. Does anyone have any good suggestions on helping her adapt to us her new family? I know it will take a bit but i want to do everything i can to make her more comfortable. Someone suggested putting karo or kyro syrup in her water? I've never ever heard of that so if you have fill me in. Any suggestions would be great! thanks!

toi et moi yesterday asked if people were ashamed of the hassle the McCanns were getting....."these poor folk" as he said.

My question is ........You McCann fans all think that we have no reason to believe that they are guilty, so what I want to know is this......How do you all know that they are NOT guilty.

have you ever met them?
Do you know anything that we don't?
Is it because they are a "normal" upper class family?
Is it because they are doctors and well....no doctor could ever
do that to their family?
Don't you believe it when there are other proven cases of
upper class "decent" families having killed their kids?
What do you resent us giving our opinions on the subject as a
lot of the answers to us are downright personally insulting
Why do we get violations for asking a simple question....this is
a country which practices free speech
And once again WHY DO YOU THINK THEY ARE INNOCENT?......have you proof that they are innocent

For some reason, the back of my neck is allot darker than my skin. Is there a cheap producted that I can purchace at my local CVS, Jewel, etc that can make the skin on my neck the same color as my skin? (Im not talking about make-up, I need something that would make the darkness go away permanently?) Thanks in advance!

I was with a guy at a public place and noticed him looking around quite often. He termed it 'people watching' and it seemed like an ingrained habit.

What is the reason for habitual 'people watching'? Also, it's one thing to people watch if you are alone, but isn't it unusual to do so if you have company and they don't share the interest? Is watching from a distance more appropriate than watching someone who can notice that they are being watched, possibly making them uncomfortable? Can it be used as an excuse to check out people from the opposite sex?

Would like some opinions on this activity from watchers as well as non-watchers. Thank you for your responses.

Tell me why in just about every show/movieor book people make robots look bad and dangerous...I mean not every robot will want to kill you or make a riot like some mad people (if they were programed to have there own opinion) wouldn't they be just like your reguler people in the world. yes some are killers, some or racist but come they can not be all bad.

i have been looking at cpu for my new pc which i am building and im not to sure which to get

i got an amd 6400+ recently but my motherboard isnt compatible with it and i cnt find one tha tis on newegg =[

what is the difference in the two? intel or amd?

im getting pulsations all around my body, arms, legs, feet forehead, eyes, cheeks, chest, back, everywhere like a muscle pulsation but i think its heart related as im in EXTREME anxiety now and the past year ive been getting this, ive never had them as bad as tonight and its distressing me greatly. i get palpitations aswell when i dont tense my stomache. i havent eaten well in 3-4 days, i have alot on my mind is it that? how do i destress or is it another problem related to disease or something?

what can i do to get rid of them or lower them? my doctor issues me propranolol for anxiety shall i take one? ive neevr taken anything like that before.

hi, last summer i was in italy and when i was at my brothers house, then i came home from a meeting and i just turned on the tv and there was a movie about 9/11. it was just started and i missed the title of the movie it told about the 9/11 and every thing from 9/11 , the past, osama, bush,fbi, usa army, the pantagon and they told the whole truth. at first i didnt believe it but now do. when i called the italian tv channel they said they just cant tell me the titile of the movie because they just got a phone call from the government to not to show it again. i told this to my friends and they dont believe me. yesterday when i was listening the 99.5 wbai nyc radio channel they were selling a movie about 9/11. and im gonna get the movie watch it show it to the people and also do reasearch of my own on the9/11 and bring up the truth. i also find out that a plane cant just bring down the twin towers. thesteel which was used can only "BE BENT" ON 2000F. i agree on it i dont know about u ppl.

I dont get how parents can do this. Im giving myself as an example. I have been dating my bf for 2 years. Im prob going to end up marrying this guy. He is a good guy, is educated, works, treats me right. My parents just don't like him-its that simple. He's not even allowed over my house. (i still live with my parents but im moving out soon, my bf and i are in mid 20's.)
Anyway, i have been threatened that if i marry him, they will disown me completely. I have known another girl that her parents completely disowned her because she married the man she loves. I don't get it-there is so many worse things in this world that can happen -someone can get sick, someone can get in an accident, ect... and its like your not talking to me because of this?? Life is too short, i dont get why some parents disown or even threaten to disown their kids, especially if they were always good kids and want to make their own decsisions. I thought parents were suppose to love their kids unconditionally....
