For all we know, God doesn't want people to believe in Him and if you do choose to believe you will be punished eternally in the afterlife. Isn't that scenario just as likely as the one the Bible talks about?

Isn't it a safer bet to just live for the sake of living and not focus on unprovable superstitious?

This an opinions question. I've read the first book, I've seen the movies, I've head all the arguments from both sides, so I don't need any background info. Do you think George and Kathy Lutz's Amityville Horror story was true? Based upon some truth? Or a fraud perpetrated upon the public to make money? And yes, I'm aware there have been questions on this topic before, but most of them have been from people requesting basic information. Thanks for your input, all opinions welcome.

Why don't you just browse the costume websites or look up "make your own costumes" on Yahoo websearch, or just read all the suggestions already here, to get some ideas?

Okay, still stumped? At least give us some details about yourself: what do you enjoy? What kind of personality do you have? Age? Male or female? Size (roughly--slim, average, short, plump, extra tall?), and they might at least give us something to go on!

Thanks!

I don't want to ruin my leather. I have tried the non acetone nail polish remover(p.s. not a good idea) the cologne and rubbing alcohol. Thinking more along the lines of a good real leather cleaner. But if you have a trick I haven't tried I am all ears.

I especially love a rainy day when I'm inside, in front of a roaring fire, snuggled in close with... my cats :-) Or that special someone. How about you?

Okay. Let me just say this. The theory that homosexuality is a choice seems severely flawed to me.

1) If homosexuality is a choice, then it is CERTAINLY not a conscious choice? Who would knowingly choose to be gay when they know that it's going to make their lives more difficult. Furthermore, if a person did consciously choose to be gay, wouldn't that mean that they already had an inclination towards homosexuality? Otherwise, why in the world would they choose the same sex?

2) If choosing to be gay is a subconscious choice (perhaps a choice we make unawaringly at a very young age) then that's essentially the same as being born gay, because the person did not consciously choose it and therefore can not be held accountable for "choosing."

I am straight and am/always have been a born again Christian. I simply just think the choice argument is weak and senseless. Also, if you truly believe in this choice theory, please explain when and how people make this decision. Thanks.

with my first son I told my mom that we didn't want anyone in the room with us and my mom and his mom (my mom-in-law) stayed anyway even after i told them no before I started pushing, the nurses and doctor didn't even kick them out after i said no.

now with my second i have told my mom several times that we again wanted to do this by ourselves but she keeps asking me if we are going to let her and his mom watch again and I keep telling her no. She says that you only get to see your grandbaby be born once. she has already seen one born and her mom was never in her delivery room. she wont take no for an answer.

with my first son my hubby didn't even get to see him come out because she stood in the way and wouldn't let him see. we don't want this to happen again and I have told her this and that nobody but me and him were to be in there. Does anybody have any ideas on how to make her understand she has been buged me about this since I got prag. I am 38.5 wks
