I'd think the steak would be horrible after an hour or two... and if you tried to reheat it, it'd get hard and chewy - if that's what you like, by all means, try it. I'd say, cooked steak shouldn't be eaten if its been more than 24 hours from the time it was first cooked. Put in a lidded container and refrigerate immediately as soon as you come home from the restaurant.
As for the cooked pasta and potatoes, they should probably last for about 2 days if you stored it in a lidded container in a fridge as soon as possible after it was cooked.

depends where you get it and how fast you put it in the fridge...with every passing hour though (at least to me) the meal starts to look and taste worse and worse. If I take leftovers home I definitely eat them for lunch the next day and they are fine.

Unfortunately, I will never know the answer to that question. When I get steak at a restaurant, I eat it all.

A couple of days tops. I wouldn't eat it after about 3 days, but honestly as long as it smells okay, it should be fine.

If you keep them referigirated they will last for 2 days. They won't go bad even after two days but you can't eat them. They would taste awful after two days!

Provided they were referigerated promptly, I would ecpect them to be fine for 3 - 4 days, safely.

well, if you put it in the refrigerator, then it should last for three or four days at least. if no fridge then it won't last the night.
