If I remember, democracy was only practiced in the Senate and not for the peasants. Perhaps he was a danger to THEIR democracy.
The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.

'In Athens, by contrast, the monarchy was abolished in 683 BC, and reforms of Solon established a moderate system of aristocratic government. The aristocrats were followed by the tyranny of Pisistratus and his sons, who made the city a great naval and commercial power. When the Pisistratids were overthrown, Cleisthenes established the world's first democracy (500 BC), with power being held by an assembly of all the male citizens. But only a minority of the male inhabitants were citizens, excluding slaves, freedmen and non-Athenians.'

Socrates should embody the beauty of democracy but in his time, he was seen to be a rebel who destablized society by making them think and that his ways were dangerous to the powers of authorities in charge who thought he was a danger to their order - just like today and our authorities who think philosophy and truth endanger their positions of power, as we may riot against their choices and decisions in their 'democracy'. But democracy tends to goals that are wanted and only when these goals are achieved can democracy become more equal and balanced and that means questioning the actions of ourselves and our governments.

I dunno here. I see you asking questions that obviously are part of your homework. You should stop trying to CHEAT from people who already did their homework. Why are you getting an education anyway? Sorry, no answer from me on this one.
Wait. Try this. Socrates was an idiot. He threatened society at all levels. He made stuff up on the street corner. His eyes bulged out too much. He molested children. He taught against all democracy. He said the spartans should control the world. He secretly held meetings with Sophists to teach people false principles of living. He taught that truth was best pumped into youth through their bowels, and that's why Greeks had anal sex with young boys; it was to make them wise. Socrates didn't even exist. Plato made him up. The Oracle at Delphi, was a liar. There is no merit in Knowing Thyself. Actually, Socrates was Plato's son. Democracy? We developed democracy to see whether we could make Socrates stir in his grave. His defense was stupid. He could have just walked away. There was no hemlock. He was actually hung. Socrates taught in favor of totalitarianism. He tried to be a tyrant. H'ed run through the streets naked. He tried to start wars against terrorists. He said that someday another jerk would come alobng and start wars in the Middle East. He was against all human DIGNITY. Giovanni de la Mirandolla hated Socrates. St. Augustine denied all that Plasto ever wrote, because it was all a lie and becaszue it was never to be taught in philosophy classes. Socrates was the enemy of all education.
In fact he said that everybody should CHEAT CHEAT CHEAT on their philosophy homework!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! homework!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. .
