I have been living in Brazil for the past 4 years, and worked before that in the nonprofit field for about 4 years. I really cant decide if I could be a good lawyer, or if I should go into Urban Planning. Do you think that law school is crazy for someone older than 25?

I need a camera for photo class and I'm looking at these two. I found a Minolta on Craigslist for way less than a Canon. but are they comparable cameras or is one really crappy? they're pretty comparable in terms of basic functions right?

i am so stressed...esp with single parenting of a difficult child. obviously suicide isnt an option as a single mom....but i feel the urge to cut myself i feel it would calm me and make me for more control

I was in church today and the pastor said the reason God lets people burn in hell is because he would never force his love on anyone. Then the pastor said that now a days we have a word for forcing our love on someone it is rape. Being a victom of rape I was really offended, becasue rape is not about love it is about power. During what I have gone through my husband has forced me to do things that I didn't want to do, like seek help and counceling and I would consider he was forcing love on me. Even though I didn't want his help in the end it was better for me. Isn't this what tough love is, no parent would allow their child to go a bad way, they would try and stop them right? That is tough love. Shouldn't God who is a perfect Father be the same way? Seems to me if God lets someone burn in hell because he does not love God, that is abuse of a child right? I know I would never punish my child for not loving me, what do you guys think?

Like just got divorce and she was the one that left him and last night a kind of made out with him. I just talked to him and everything seemed fine. I do think that this is a very slipper road I'm walk on. What should I do? I can't help that I like him. Believe me I have tried really hard to stop.

If your ex-g/f of 10 years played with your heart for a third time and because you truly loved her and you took her back AND then it ended and she went back three weeks later to the person she cheated you with, what would you do?

She cheated on me and got pregnant. I forgave her. She got an abortion. I forgave her again. We made love many times. I took great care of her for those three weeks, again, and was the perfect friend.

She owes me $1500 bucks. I am the ONLY one who knows about the abortion. If others knew no one would want anything to do with her again. If she doesn't pay should I tell everyone about the abortion? I am not angry that she left, I guess that was a blessing. What I am now angry about is something she did, which would take too much space to write.

So, what would you do? Just let it go? I guess I am stupid BUT put yourself in my shoes for a few seconds please. Thanks.

I spent three weeks working in a LDS ward and feel really bad for the people!

I mean they certainly did get themselves into that trouble but my time at St. Timothy's reminded me that as a Baptist we need to pray for those addicted to drugs, crimes, and alcohol.

What do you think? Do you know anyone addicted to LDS, Crack, or Scientology or anything else that can be harmful? What about Tom Cruise. He was born a Catholic and then fell into Scientology.

I've seen some of the worst bulling come from the blonde haired, blue eyed little girls! Often they've socially bullied their victims into total peer alienation if they don't get their way! It also seems their parents FEED this to the child, and can't be reasoned with. (aparently they've spoiled her...like moldy and rancid milk.)

The boy that is a little more than average height and weight, who bullies (it's actually rare I ever see this stereotype) tends to be easier to understand and have very cooperative parents in behaviour modification.

What do you think?

I'm on the market to buy a house. I put an offer in a house recently, and even though I gave them a pretty reasonable offer, they countered it, though for not much more ($1,500). Some people are telling me I should counter-offer their counter offer, but it seems like a petty thing to do since it's such a small amount. What should I do? Is it worth countering over?

Well here is the deal, tonight I am having a hard time with my sugars they wont go down no matter what i do. I took a walk took extra insulin according to my plan, but they are ranging between 450-500. I took a ketone urine test said medium amounts of ketones. I am starting to have a hard time catching my breath, peeing a lot drymouth and not thinking to straight. I am thinking that i should proly go to the ER since all the stuff i am doing at home is not working. Does this sound like I might be going into DKA?

I honestly don't mean to disrespect to religion but why a bible?Why not something more practical to a vacationer/traveler?How about a local map?Pack of batteries or a guide to the area?

sigh...well I guess that the whole world's full of counselors but not a single one can help me with my situation

Mom: sigh where to start....well she's a good cook but that's about it....the most important thing about her is that she is someone who doesn't play fair (during arguements, it would usually start with my mom accusing me of something, then I would explain back to her about this and that and then she would have no more to say but doesn't want to lose her pride...so for the next few hours, she would just keep accusing me in front of my dad).

Dad: man.....this guy is one of those guys who had to get from poor to rich (from old China to the U.S.) he does not like to argue, in fact he is scared to argue (now don't get me wrong, it would usually start: me and mom would argue, he would interrupt saying he's going to call 911 then he would talk to my mom and tell me that im gonna have to back off or else he's gonna have to "stab both of us in the neck to make us shut up"
