Yes they do, it's called Tisch http://www.tisch.nyu.edu/page/home
Yes it's expensive and yes it's selective but you'll never know if they'll take you and what kind of aid package they'll offer you unless you apply. You should e-mail them ASAP and let them know you are interested. Always use your full name in every communication because most schools keep track of these things so they know how serious you are about attending there. How many times you contact them could tip the scales in your favor come admission time.
If you can visit the campus and setup an interview that's good too.
Good luck!!!

If you mean New York University yes, it has a very good program, along with one in film making. It's expensive. The State University of NY at Purchase has an excellent program and costs far less. Both are highly competitive.

NYU has a fantastic acting program, however you also have to be able to be admitted into the university--which is a tall order since it's a highly selective university.
The American Academy of Dramatic Arts also has a school in NYC. Marymount Manhattan College also has a good theater program.

shop saving funds and notice the way you experience once you graduate extreme college. some thing those education counselors have in no way understood is that frequently a individual can purely effectively do what their dream occupation is, no longer what the present field of the 2d is. look what occurred to all those people who have been given MBA tiers and went to paintings for great banks! the place are assorted them now?

The best are Julliard and Purchase College, both very exclusive and very expensive. You will have to be a terrific actor to get into either one.
Maybe your shouldn't go to college if you want to be an actor.
