The dividing line is when a man spends more time than the average woman on getting ready for the day or special event.
Unless a guy is a model or an actor, his daily regime shouldn't take more than 30 minutes in the morning. Taking long showers is okay though.
The other obvious "girly" thing is when a guy grooms his brows to the point one can tell that they have been plucked & shaped to have an obvious arch. If a guy's brows can be photo shopped onto a photo of a woman & look okay - that's too much.
If a guy wants his brows that way, then that's his business.

I see no problem with taking care of one's self, I do draw the line where feminine products are used to take care of one's self (Except for shampoo and the like). I believe women can appreciate a man who cares about appearance and hygiene. Being a well manicured man is helpful in confidence and presentation. However, lace, feminine perfumes, gels and other products of that ilk can't be good. I believe a woman still like a man to be a man. Mixture of steel and velvet.

"Taking care of yourself"? How do you mean? Everyone takes care of themselves....I don't see what relevance that has to being masculine of feminine.
Being "girly" obviously means being like a typical girl, not like a typical man. So...duh.....I think you've answered your own question.
