take a bunch of card board and duct tape and make an impenetrable card board fortress. no one will bother that- because it's impenetrable! I'm a genius.

The lavatory would probably be a good place, but with at least 7 people on board, you wouldn't get much done with folks knocking on the door all the time. Probably one of the best places to get the most alone-time would be the cockpit. I mean, once in orbit the computers and ground control are pretty much managing the ride. There's not too much call for immediate course corrections, and if there were such maneuvers required, the pilot would punch a few buttons, the orbiter would perform the change and then you'd be left alone again.

I would think that going outside and swinging from the end of the long boom would do it.
Or shut yourself up in your sleeping area. Locking yourself in the toilet is considered bad form there.
