I think its a nice car and it shows that hes not a slacker and probably has a job, is at least mildly responsible but from what I see out on the road, people who drive pick-up trucks and don't actually use them (like to haul stuff or for work, etc) are usually jerks, so no, not based on the car I wouldn't.

If by driving a Ford Ranger you mean he's unbelievably stupid, has many girly attributes and above of all else is completely incompetent in the sack...then I highly doubt any girls are. Now there's a been proven study, that the afore mentioned qualities are all in fact qualities of guys who drive the embarassment known as the Ford Ranger.

I don't like those things, if that's what you mean. My dad has had one for years, and I used to be really embarrassed when he'd drop me off places.
