I recently purchased Windows XP (OS) at a steep $299.99 (08/01/07) but my laptop stopped working so I'm unable to use it. Although I understand their (Best Buy) return policy on software, since I can't use it I should be able to return it! Besides, when I get another laptop (most likely at Best Buy) it will come with an Operating System already... I could certainly use the money for the new computer!

I have seen Christian converts to Islam question the Trinity?. Some have gone has far has attack Christanity has a pagan religion. My question to you is why do you think has a human being(you are not God) you will understand the Trinity. Do you guys think you are more powerful than God to understand God himself?. Why are you using a human perspective to understand trinity. If God wanted to test your faith wouldn't it seem logical for God to give you an opportunity in the form of Trinity. If God gave you everything as straight forward like you wanted to see how can God test your faith towards him?
For User ID manhornz: I. Read Matthew Chapter 7 verse 15. It says" beware of false prophets, who come to you in Sheep's Clothing but underneath are ravenous wolves" you have not yet provided me with a rebuttal so why should I leave my faith. Did Abraham question his faith when God asked him to sacrifice his Son, which would seem the most illogical thing from a human perspective to do?.

i'll try to make my story short--one of my grandparents is not doing well. she's taken a huge step backwards. she has trouble doing the basic things and can barely make full sentences. right now, she's in a nursing home. whenever i go there i become depressed and resort to unhealthy habits to deal. i have limited the number of my visits but feel guilty about it. it's a topic that always come up throughout the day. overall, i find the whole situation to be sad.

so, i guess i'm asking if anyone else experienced the same thing. did you regret not visiting your love one more often?

I mean, what vegetable dish did you make that made a picky eater eat it? Today i made purple cabbage and green cabbage cole slaw with apple cider vinegar and no mayo. My bro who never eats veggies ate it with delight, i think because of the colors and the lack of mayo which distorts the color, and its healthier without it, only you have to let it sit for 20 min to let the cider ferment a little.

I would have to say that blacks are more discriminated. People classify white women as minorities as blacks but really they cant be considering the fact that there have been way more white women governors and that a white women has a better chance of being a us president than a black.
Also it has been shown that even though white women did not have as much power as a white male, they were given certan protections.
1. Not being forced to fight in a war and almost never being sent to death row for capital crimes in the past.
Lynching have never been used on white women no matter how serious of a crime they was charged with.
Also from since the 1950's it has been proven that decisions made in divorce such as almony and child custody have proven to benefit women of all races, including white women.
And then another example of this double standard is that white women such as mary letourneau and debra lafave who sleep with boys are not punished as harshly as vice versa.

have you ever felt like someone was watching you from in your house but you were the only one in your house? that's how i feel all the time! my houseis so scary i always here noises and see weird shadows out of the corner of my eye and stuff and while i'm walking up my stairs i always feel like something's right behind me! like this one time my sister and i were using a ouija board but no results but later on after that i saw shadows and heard weird noises and stuff like that! an example of a few weird things that has happened before was this one time when i had this ''thing'' toy you know from the fantastic 4 and the hat to be hit really hard on its feet to make this crushing noise and so i went to sleep and i started to hear that crushing noise and i looked over and there was the toy lying all by itself on the floor still going off making that noise and also my sister had this talking yoda doll thing that says phrases and stuff like that,well she had had it turned off and it talked!

This is a mind-boggler to me and I'm wondering if any biology geniuses out there have the answer (...and if it involves religion, I'm spamming your account with naughty emails). Anyways, we all know asexual organisms clone themselves to produce an exact copy of itself, whereas sexual organisms combine DNA and create something with variation. Now, I'm wondering, since asexual organisms supposedly came first, how did evolution create sexual organisms. Obviously asexual organisms weren't just like "Let's combine our DNA to make something with variation and a better chance for survivial in a catastrophe!" What happened? How did cloning (asexual reproduction) turn into sex (sexual reproduction)? Mother nature really is intelligent.

I personally believe The Bible was written by heaps of different author's who added their own opinions to it over time.

And has this whole Da Vinci Code business made you wonder more about things.

Apparently one guy now things it isn't Mary Magdalene in The Last Supper painting but Mary as in Jesus' mother sitting beside him.

Religion is way too confusing for me at times lol, eventhough I didn't do too bad with it at school.

I've tried everything to get rid of this virus, including doing a system restore various different times as well as looking for instructions using smit fraud fix, smitRem, hijack this, etc.

After I do all of this and restart my computer in normal mode the popups for the anti-software services are gone but I can't access my control panel or right click on properties so something is still not right. When I try to do many things I keep getting this message: "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator." Please help! I don't know what to do I've looked and followed virtually every procedure I could find online and nothing seems to work. Thank you so much!
