I am 20 years old, and I live in my own apartment. I go home about every other weekend to see my mom and step dad and have dinner with them. On more then one occasion (5 or6) when my mom steps out of the room my step dad will hand me $100. I never know what to say, I feel like a babbling idiot because I support myself and could really use the extra money but I feel awful for taking it. I usually say something along the lines of "no no, I cant but thank you." and then he says "you need it, take it." which then I usually do with a very grateful thank you.

Is this acceptable or should I keep trying to turn it down? Do you think it is a little odd that he will only do it when my mother is not in the room?

I am currently shopping for a good used family boat .. I am running into alot of Bayliners and several other models.. My husband says that he was told that Bayliner is the low end chepo boats and frowns on them when I point one out... Are they low end boats to stay clear of or are they as good as any for the money?

The company I work for just installed a Netgear Wireless Router in my office. They say they are monitoring our website activity and we can't get online anymore. Well, there is nothing to do at my store for hours at a time but get online(ebay, news, etc). Is there any way(other than have netgear login and change settings)for me to disable the website monitoring?

well heres the story...
I have been going to my chruch since i was three! Im a christian! Now my mom and dad want to leave my chruch and they say i cant just go because you go to church as a family! and you guys dont know how MUCH i love my chruch (mostly cuz of the ppl)
I love thease ppl i mean their my family i grew up with them! I have a small church and thats how i like it! And today my parents wanted us (my fam) to try this new chruch! it is a HUGE church! its just SOOO diff then what im used too! i want my old church i want it bad! But... im affrid if my family stays at my old chruch my mom and dad will stop loving god and going to any chruch! im soo confused and sad?! what should i do?? PS. Y they dont want to stay @ my church long story! but plz help thx! xox

I've worked with this girl for three months that looks kinda like Carrie Underwood. I'm 21, she's 18. When she first started working, I walked up to her, introduced myself, carried on a short conversation, and that was that. We've worked together all the time and would smile, acknowledge each other, but that was it.

Just within the past week, things have just evolved to the point where we talk regularly. Just yesterday, I was busy, walked past her cubicle, and caught her grinning at me out of the corner of my eye. I walked back up to her, she gave me this huge smile, and before I knew it we just laughed and talked about Mongolian food for ten minutes.

Okay, I'm a nice guy and not just about getting into some girl's pants. She seems to communicate that same vibe, and I like that.

Should I just go ahead and ask her on the first date, or talk to her some more before doing so? Thanks!

(I know this is P/S, not singles, and that I've asked this.)

My mom never used them with me and my siblings, and she seems disappointed in a way that I just assumed I would use them with my baby. She also was strict with us about taking the bottle away for good at our first birthday. I am torn between a 2007 Bass Tracker Pro Team 170 TX and a 2007 Nitro 640. The bass tracker has a smaller engine at 50 HP while the Nitro has a 90 HP. The bass tracker is marine alloy and the Nitro is fiberglass. Both hold 4 people and are 16' 4". Let me here what you expert fishers have to say.
