I hereby retract my snarky answer below (although I leave it as pennance). Holli has corrected me that this is not for her homework ... so I owe her an apology.

Aristotle's pangene hypothesis was that biological systems could be understood if the student (the 'pan' of knowledge) applied himself or herself to its study (it's 'gene'sis).

The error in his hypothesis is that there would always be students who would ask others to do their homework for them, and thus fail to understand biology whatsoever.

I am not sure but I would bet if he was around today he would be doing his own homework rather than posting a load of questions that all seem to be from the same homework assignment on genetics.
