If you are a Sophomore, you should still have a few inches or more to grow. So 5'6" right now should not be a problem, as long as you can jump high, run fast and cover well.

There are some small corners in the NFL, Dre Bly is 5'9", and he is pretty good. Of course he is not Champ Bailey, who is 6 foot, but he is still pretty good.

I would not worry about your height right now, just go play and try to be the best. The height will either come to you, or it won't, no need to worry about it. Deal with it when it happens, or doesn't.

Good luck.

Size matters in certain position. You have to play the position that your size is made for. There is a place on a football team for big and small players. Don't let people tell you any different.

Ive seen taller receivers pick apart shorter DBs in games, fade routes, goalline situations; height matters. As far as tackling remember force= MASSx acceleration, so you better have good technique and some speed. Like you said if you do your job well then its okay. But all things being equal Ill take a BIG talented player over a small one anyday

It kindof does .. Im 5'6 also n i thought about if size matters. It does kind of but i mean if your good then your good and it doesnt matter. That just means you have to work harder to get cover people way taller than you..

yes it does but for cornerback u can be small, thts a good thing, but ive heard some stories were 2 ppl with about the same talent were being looked at by recriuts, these were lineman by the way, and the bigger kid got picked for a scholarship to a big school..so it does matter for certain positions

It does matter but not much for CB. There are alot of short CBs in the NFL and who play Div. 1 football. i know someone whos about 5'8 and he plays CB for a div 1-AA school. The only thing that really matters in playing CB is your tackling ability and speed

Nope, purely determination of your individual self to be the suitable of you. Iniesta, Xavi, Messi are actually not that tall yet they're the right gamers interior the worldwide. there is not any limitations in activities. in spite of everything, length does not remember.

sometimes yr size matters. in some positions it matters about how big and tal u r. but in some other positions i does not matters about how big or how tall u r. so sometimes size does and sometimes it does not matter.
