This is a very easy system to solve since you have a positive and a negative of the same variable. They will cancel each other out by addition.
x + y =6
x - y = -2
-------------
2x = 4
x = 2
Now to find y substitute the 2 for x and solve for y.
x + y = 6
2 + y = 6
y = 4
Check by substituting the value for each variable in both equations and you get the correct answers.

I have done one for you, just getting the answers won't help you learn

what you have to is get a formula for x or y = and then substitute it into the second equation so

x = 6 - y

Edit - too late lol!
