I need a house out in the country, but my credit is so bad and I have limted income and no down payment and can not pay a morgage.

I'm planning on enlisting in the Army.I still have to meet with a recruiter, & take the ASVAB test.I already toke the AFQT, & I scored an 89.I'm planning on enlisting for 4 years active duty as an Indirect Fire Infantryman(11C).I don't want to leave home until atleast October1.My grandma is very sick, she is 84 and has a very weak heart.I want to be at home when she dies, so I can go to her funeral.Nobody in my family really support my decision to enlist.My mom,sister,grandma,aunt & uncles all want me to stay home.My mom is worried because my older broyher died when I was 9, & my dad dies when I was 13.But I'm 20 years old.Shouldn't my family members respect my decision?

why is it anytime i go into a public restroom... and someone walks out of the bathroom stall... they go to the sink and just run their hand under water for 2seconds then flick them off.. no soap no nothin! hello i have to touch that door handle after you.... i have to touch the faucet after you too... and now your possibly touching carts that me or my kids touch! gross....i swear some sick a$$ women think that splashin a little water will wash away the tinkle! yuck! does anyone agree???!?!?!

Question: Who would you sooner have replaced - Brown, Bush or Putin?

"Dull Jon"s Answer: Bush, but only because I haven't paid enough attention to Brown or Putin to comment on them.

Isn't that just like saying, "I'm really to stupid to learn anything, so I'll just hate Bush like they told me too."?

People are so overwhelmingly stupid. Anyone who didn't say Putin can't be taken seriously about anything. Hatred so blind is a mental disorder.

Should they be subjected to forced sterilization?

You have to love some of the folks here.

I realize where some of this is coming from, so I'll at least stay away from that.

I've been training dogs for nearly 40 years. My dogs know what their boundaries are. My dogs have been in parades, been on TV and been on TV for doggie game shows (That's My Dog).

I just love it here when you hear folks talking about getting their dog's respect. It falls just below my other favorite one, "My dog is doing this just to make me angry." Or how about, "My dog just has selective hearing."

Okay. I'll give you folks an opportunity.

You want to tell me what getting a dog's respect means to you? You can also make it the reverse, how does a dog disrespect you?

I have a main desktop that is connected to a Belkin router. I plugged a USB network adapter and installed all components in my 2nd desktop located in another room in the house. I cannot find a connection with any network. I also have a laptop that connects to my network perfectly. Why can't I connect my 2nd desktop to the internet like how my laptop connects it?

My 2nd desktop is running on Microsoft XP 2000 with SP2, exactly what my laptop is running on, yet it won't connect to the internet. Please help!

does dry ice release cold? i know that sounds dumb. But if i were to put about 3 grams of dry ice into a glass container in the sun and cover the top with clear wrap, would the dry ice lower the temperature?

I don't know too much about the subject but my family and organization (Fix Our World Society) are going green because we know its a problem. If you want to insult al gore go ahead I don't care because it isn't his idea. To bring up al gore is to say you don't have any good scientific reason for doubt. If you want to bring in the bible and say god will never flood the whole earth again power to you! Unfortunately it wouldn't flood the whole earth. The only thing a person who brings up scripture knows about global warming is what they saw in The Day After Tommorow. Please don't be a part of the issue and learn something about global warming

My question is simple: is larva (bee larva?) involved in the pollination or growth process of canteloupes? I just cut one open, and part of the rind looked like those little tuberish growths that contain necessary larva in fig fruit, and I then read that bees pollinate canteloupes. I am again amazed at the answers protestants have given today regarding practices of the Catholic Church. I see this all the time and its always the same old tripe: "it was an invention of the dark ages", or "they follow pagan holidays", or something along those lines. Have you ever studied early Christian writings from the first 3 or 4 centuries, by men such as Clement of Rome, Irenaeus, Tertullian, Ignatius of Antioch, Clement of Alexandria, Origen, and others? Did you know that there are hundreds of protestant ministers (yes, ministers) who say that there conversion to the Catholic faith was cemented by reading the writings of these early christians? Do you study such things, or do you just parrot what you read in poorly written anti-Catholic tracts? If you read these ancient texts, you may be in for the surprise of your life when you find out that the first Christians believe what Catholics believe today.
