wow some of these people are realllly retarded. new york (mets) has the most faithful fans in the game. the mets could totally afford a-rod, as well as many other teams such as the angels, white sox, phillies, tigers, mariners again, as well as the yankees and red sox. ok now to the question: no chance. jeter will be a yankee all his life, and the only yankee i will ever have respect for, as someone already stated. a-rod-the slightest chance ever. in the beginning of the season, wright said that he would move to second base if a-rod were to sign with the mets (which shows what a class act and team player he is). however, the only reason he would leave the yankees is to get out of new york because hes a girl and cant stand the pressure. so why would he go to the mets when he knows every mets fan hates him, and unlike yankee fans (hating johnny damon while on the red sox then loving him as a yankee to hating him because hes having trouble coming off the DL) we will never like him. well at least the die-hard mets fans. so no, no chance.

Thier is a 0.0 chance of Jeter going to the Mets.
A-Rod going to the Mets is way out of the question because the Mets have Wright who has many good years ahead of him and the Mets just arent intreseted in getting A-Rod.

There's no chance on either. Jeter will never leave the Yankees. And the Mets are set on Jose Reyes at SS. A-Rod will probably end up with one of the LA teams, the Cubs, or maybe the Red Sox.

It's doubtful A-Rod would leave the Yankees. Despite what everyone thinks, don't believe the media hype. He will be a Yankee next year. Jeter, of course, will remain a Yankee forever. He is that rare player in the modern era who has played his entire major league career with the same team. As a Red Sox fan, Jeter is the only Yankee I have real respect for. I just can't bring myself to say anything bad about him. If A-Rod does leave, he'll have been a Yankee for just part of his career, but Jeter is the true Yankee.

A-Rod, slight chance. Jeter, as much chance as the Mets have of winning the World Series again in your lifetime: Not a chance in hell! The Curse of Kevin Mitchell will stand forever!

I would say no chance at all. I look for both A-Rod and Jeter to finish their careers with the Yankees.

I don't think so.
I think the best financial offer ARod will get after this year will be from the Yankees. If he leaves the Yankees, it will be because he's decided he really doesn't want to play in New York any more.
And Jeter will probably retire as a Yankee.

Maybe A-Rod but i highly doubt he wants to go through another position change with David Wright and Jose Reyes already there

don't you think those guys are tired of New York?
and besides are the mets willing to let go of david wright and jose reyes?
cuz reyes plays the same position as Jeter...Short stop
and wright plays the same position as A-Rod...3rd base
