We are having a round table with the company CEO and we are asked to prepare questions to ask, to impress the CEO, A very smart lady. career/company questions as she is going to advice us on our career search/planning. Smart and brain teaser questions are welcome!

do extensive research on the company and you'll probably think of many natural questions to ask about that (for example, "I noticed in a Wall Street Journal article that you're looking to expand into China, what are the factors that you're considering in making that choice?").

You could also ask him/her questions about how he/she got to where he/she is today. If you want to be in a certain position within a company, it's an awesome opportunity to find out information that you might not have thought of to get into that role.

Where do you see this company being 5 and 10 years from now? How will technology change our industry? What new competition will we have 5 years from now? What's the best career path I can take to be in your chair 10 years from now? What courses can I take to best prepare me for a managerial position?

Her view on the current fluctuations in the stock market and if there are any foreseeable impacts on her business.

What are the 3 toughest challenges facing the company.

These are puff questions as she has already thought about them and highly likely discussed them at senior management staff meetings.

Try to find a presentaion she made before and generate questions out of it.
