What? Neither. I want my daughters (if ever I have kids) to make the right decision and not have sex until they're married. I want my sons to be happy and content.
I want my kids to be intelligent, productive members of society. I want them to study, do well in school, and have at least a fair amount of culture. I want them to be exposed to art, literature, and music, ALL kinds of music! I want to raise them to respect themselves, and others, and to treat animals with kindness. I want them to have compassion, morals, and tolerance. I want them to treat the Earth with reverence, and remember that moderation in all things is key to a long life.
And I want the ONLY pills they'll ever need to be an occasional Tylenol!
So really, I would think I want the same for my kids as most atheists do, don't you agree?

If I have kids someday (If Jesus doesn't come again before then) I would want them to love God and truly respect and fear Him. As they get older, once they have a better understanding of who God is, I want them to share His Word with their friends. I want them to be able to make desicions according to what God says when they face temptation. The 2 things you mentioned wont be necessary because, God willing, they wont follow the ways of the world.
