I have a main desktop that is connected to a Belkin router. I plugged a USB network adapter and installed all components in my 2nd desktop located in another room in the house. I cannot find a connection with any network. I also have a laptop that connects to my network perfectly. Why can't I connect my 2nd desktop to the internet like how my laptop connects it?
My 2nd desktop is running on Microsoft XP 2000 with SP2, exactly what my laptop is running on, yet it won't connect to the internet. Please help!

The USB network adapter is by Dynex and I have installed all updated drivers and it still won't work. What else can I do? Should I buy a desktop adapter to install inside of the PC?
