Okay, as an ex-christian, I can say with confidence that my belief in the bible and its version of 'God' prevented me from being remotely open to other points of view. I was afraid I might find out I was wrong . . . which I did. Now, I believe in infinite possibilities- such as the origin of life, life forms on other planets, and things we haven't discovered or even thought of yet. This is not to say I accept everything I see and hear but that I'm now able to examine things without fear, and keep an open mind.

Does your belief system prevent you from exploring other possibilites unbiasedly?

I just got Adobe CS2... my question is, do I have to install the entire suite, or can I just put in one disc and download what's on it? The only program I want at the moment is Adobe Illustrator, but I'm sure I'll want the others later. Also, I don't have very much available hard drive space. Thanks.

Everytime there`s a major scandal, all that happens is the outed say sorry, won`t do it again.

Geez! Poor Paris Hilton had to spend a month in the clink, and went bonko whilst there.

Where is the fairness????

What should happen is that there should be major investigations and on a par with the Nuremberg tribunals (which weren`t much, if you read the historians) to uproot the evils of privacy invasions and/or manipulations as many of these experiments resulted in personal tragedies for many people.

Every week I get an organic vegetable box delivered and that night, I like to cook something simple for the family to really bring out the taste in them. Usually I cook a stir fry but I want to cook something different this time. I don't want anything too complicated that will take the taste away from the veggies because they are really fresh. We all love the taste of them so don't want to mask it with something like an overpowering sauce. Also, nothing spicy and no animal products.

This week I have courgettes, mushrooms, turnips, onions, potatoes, tomatoes, ramiro peppers, spinach, french beans, cabbage, lettuce and cucumber.

I don't expect to use all of these but want to use quite a few to get some variations in taste and nutrition.

So has anyone got any ideas?

Flying Air India today and would feel more comfortable locking the luggage that I check in, but I am not sure whether this is allowed.

Please answer with a link to some site showing that yes or no this is allowed.

My wife and I had a big fight last night over our favourite topic to fight about - family obligations. She comes from a large family and is close to them. I can't stand them and the feeling is mutual.

We have come to an uneasy truce on the official events such as weddings and funerals. They are rare and I go without complaint (as least verbally). It is the greyer areas such as parties that we disagree.

I believe that I should be able to boycott these events if I want to. I won't miss them and they won't miss me. After all, I married her; not her family.

She says that it is only an occasional thing and that I should do it as part of marital family obligations, especially because she doesn't ask often (she doesn't).

I'd like mature opinions for either side of the argument.

Thanks.
