Where do people get off thinking johnny actually created our economic prosperity, improved the lives of most australians?
Do any of you aussies actually read and listen to him and have any knowledge to back up any argument.

He's done his dash with me, I'm afraid. Tampa, Indigenous land grab disguised as 'protecting the children', Iraq, WorkChoices, the list goes on.

He was a terrible treasurer in the late 70s and early 80s, why do people think he's suddenly some great financial saviour? He's good at taking credit for other people's ideas, I'll concede.

Most of the improvements in the economy are due to the strategies applied when Paul Keating's government was in power. I have heard a number of economists make this point but little Johnie would never admit it. When he was treasurer he was a disaster, even his present treasurer says that. Can't wait to say goodbye to him and his mates later this year.
