bleedin at all is not a good sign im afraid.i miscarried over 7 weeks ago.at 5 weeks and 6 days into the pregnancy. i no u dont wanna hear but u prob are miscarryin.did the doctors take bloods.if they didnt,go back and make them take ur blood.i had mine done,a day after i miscarried and then 2 days later.they do that bcos when the level of pregnancy hormone level drops immediately it tells u that u have miscarried.i feel awful for u.i really do.i know how it feels, the not knowin and the hopin that all will be ok.there is a slim possibility that u havent miscarried.say a little prayer to help u thru this hard time.losin a child is the most horrific thing in the world.im 23 and 3 years ago i lost my son 6 weeks after his birth.then when i fell pregnant after ttc for 18 months, lost the baby the next day.hold tight.stay strong.and just hope for the best.wishin u all the luck in the world

I don't think that there is any way to really tell. I know you can bleed and the baby's OK, but I also know that you can be having a miscarraige. At that stage, the baby is so small they might not be able to really see the baby like that especially at the hospital. As long as they saw the pregnancy sack it should be OK. They are always trying to be real quick to get to the next person and don't have the time to really try to get a good sono. I would follow their advice and just take it easy. I had bleeding when I was pregnant with my second. I had a high risk pregnancy as they found complications, but she was born just fine at 39 weeks weighing 7 lbs. I wouldn't really worry too much now though.

I had one instance of bleeding and that was at about 9 weeks and it was after intercourse, but many things can contribute to a spell of bleeding without it being a miscarriage. If the bleeding continues I would start to get worried, but if it's stopped and continues to cease to exist then you're fine. Stay off your feet for a while and take it easy, stress can be a cause of bleeding too. And remember there will be some old blood that will continue to come out too. Good luck!

5-6 weeks is nearly impossible to see any baby in sac so could still be there. just hang in there 2 more weeks and then see if you can get ultrasound unless bleeding keeps going.

This happened in my 1st pregnancy and I was told to go home and take some panadeine (was so pissed off and terrified when i heard that) and to wait a couple more weeks and then i had ultrasound again and they could actually see the baby. She is now 5 years old and a pain in the butt! but well worth having!

My doc told me that it is really common to have a break through bleed from 'leftovers' from previous periods. Take it easy, go back if you are at all concerned.

its hard to say hun, i had quite heavy bleeding with small clots with my first pregnancy and unfortunatly it ended at 10 weeks. I then went on to have two healthy girls and i have had some bleeding at 5 weeks with my current pregnancy and im now 21 weeks and just had my scan and baby is just fine so i know its not a great answer but it really could go any way.I really hope it works out for you hun.Take care xx

I suppose there is a chance but men (and women) can have HPV for a long time without knowing it. And I have also read in some women pregnancy can make the warts more active. I would guess that is probably the case. Good luck in the rest of your pregnancy!

you would not see the heart beat yet cause its to early on but the fact that you had clots this morning and they still seen a sack is good!! but it could maybe mean it was twins n you might of lost one. hope all goes well.
