Okay! I know we all cannot be small, but we all can be healthy. If you can hardly breath and cannot walk up a flight of stairs without passing out then you need to work out and think about enjoying life.

I am a big guy. I used to weigh 360lbs and I did power lifting and let me tell you slimming down is not as hard as one thinks. I did not think of eating right as a diet. I thought of it as eating right.

Moniques show wants overweight on the brink of heart attack, stroke and blood clots to love themselves. Well let me tell you this if they loved themselves then they should be working on losing weight.

Now I'm not saying that slim people cannot have heart attacks and stroke etc, but when you are overweight you are more prone to this and the heart has to pump twice as hard.

I would challenge Monique to go to the biggest loser and take the weight off and stop making it seem like being overweight is OK.

That is my opinion! What do you all think?

here'more info. she's 14 yrs old she's 9th grade. in sept. 07 she'll be in 10th grade. this was her first year in high school and it was not good. the teachers said not turning in homework, not trying hard enough, she can do better. I've tried restriction, no phone even get good grades and you can have this or that. well, she promised me that she will try harder and I think she did. Her grades were getting better. Very good. But when she took her finals she must of failed every one of them because all her grader went to hell. If I could go to school with her I would but they wont let me, I've tried..I am a single parent 2 kids a girl and a boy. she's 14 he's 10. I know most of her friens. they all call me mom or auntie. She don't do drugs or drink. She's very lazy. Some teachers say she's at that rebellous and lazy age. I say this is 2007 you need an education to make it in this world today. I need her to get hers. What can I do? are there any orgs., groups, clubs??

I am a good-looking 24 year old college-degree woman. My husband, though, seems to be attracted to the kind of woman that you would look at and say "Man, she's had a hard life." Usually they have no education and work the night shift at a gas station. On several occasions he has formed relationships with them. We are working through this and he is getting help. But I am just wondering why he goes after these kinds of women... He is a very attractive man and can probably get any one he wants.

I use Frontline on my dog. It does a good job of killing ticks but it doesn't work too well for fleas (I live in an area with a lot of fleas). I can't use Advantix because it contains a chemical which is poisonous to my cat. Does anyone know of a natural, non-toxic way to deal with fleas?

Why not keep big plastic boxes in the back of your car !
Put your groceries back in your chopping cart ( no plastic , or paper bags please ) and put your groceries in the boxes in your car . The boxes can be used ( for ever ! ) isn't it a good way to stay away from all the paper and plastic bags ??

My left hand has been in a constant state of numbness. It's similar to the "pins and needles" feeling you get when a part of your body falls asleep. Except it is milder. I didn't think it would be too serious, but it has become quite a nuisance over the past few days. I first noticed it when I rested my head on my arm for about an hour. But the feeling hasn't gone away. The worst part is that it has had a bit of an effect on my left hand's dexterity like when I tried to play the piano, my left couldn't keep up with the right like it could before.

PS: My hand isn't a different colour nor a different temperature from normal.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

THIS IS A VERY SERIOUS QUESTION!
I just graduated from college and I am trying to find a job. I have applied to more than 50 jobs and it is getting very tiring and I was starting to feel like a real failure. I just found out that my mother has been sabotaging my chances of getting hired to some great companies because she has been giving bad recommendations. I used to work with her in the family bussiness and she TOLD me to use her as a reference so that my employeers could see that I have job experiance. She has been discouraging them from hiring me, one even fired me once they talked to her. I found out by accident when I over heard her talking to one of my possible employers on the phone.... She does not know that I know this and she is still telling me to put her phone number and information down as a professional reference like she is trying to help me.

She does not have a job, has several higher educational degrees. When I meet people she tells them bad things about me

This women has endurance, skill and wit after all she went through and more. People who claim they will change Washington are either fools or liar. She knows how to work the system and thats what we need. Personally I would have gone for McCain but his campaign has collapsed. Rest of them are clowns promising lolipops.
