My left hand has been in a constant state of numbness. It's similar to the "pins and needles" feeling you get when a part of your body falls asleep. Except it is milder. I didn't think it would be too serious, but it has become quite a nuisance over the past few days. I first noticed it when I rested my head on my arm for about an hour. But the feeling hasn't gone away. The worst part is that it has had a bit of an effect on my left hand's dexterity like when I tried to play the piano, my left couldn't keep up with the right like it could before.

PS: My hand isn't a different colour nor a different temperature from normal.

any help would be greatly appreciated!

im no doctor so first get yourself cleared from cardiovascular stuff

it sounds like thoracic outlet syndrome or a pinched nerve

after you talk to your dr inquire about b6 and anti inflaitorys

from a nutrition standpoint do not elimnate vitamin c from your diet but make sure you take more mg's of b6 than vitamin c .

go with the lowest possible dose to achive this and talk to your dr about it .

get a massage , physical therapy or go see a dr of chiropractic

You could possibly have a problem with circulation. My advice is to watch it for a while and maybe try constrast baths. A contrast bath is when you fill two buckets full with freezing cold water with ice in it and extremly hott water. Keep your hand in the cold for 1 minute and then in the hott for 4 minutes. Do this for about a half an hour. If your condition persists for more than a week after starting this treatment go to the doctor and get it looked at. Best of Luck to you!

Sounds like a nerve problem.

I'd go to a doctor if I were you, especially since you play the piano.

That means you hold your hand side ways smack it against your chest a few times and make weird groans and try to bite your ear. LoL

sorry,it's just sleep like how if you sit on your foot or leg for a while. It will stop eventually.
