My husband just received a tax levy for garnishment of wages, and he will be claiming himself and both of our children. My question is, if we are married and filing jointly, and he claims both of the children on the levy, can I still take a deduction for exceeding $1500 in childcare expenses? The forms for levies do not allow for this deduction, so he cannot take it, and I figured that because we are filing jointly, I should be able to claim the deduction because we are paying the childcare costs. Hoping for an answer soon, because we only have until Monday to file this paperwork. Thanks!

On my birth certificate and social security my name is John Lee Thomas, but on my school records/expired passport my name is John Thomas Lee...however I like John Lee better and all people know me by that name.

I live in Virginia if that makes a difference. What should I do to correct my name(s)?

I'm 26 and recently started to notice my badly thinning hair, so I had my head shaved. To my horror, I found out I had a flat head, just on top at the back of the skull. It's really kiling my self esteem. I don't know what to do. I'll be completely bald in no time, and there is no way I can walk around with this flat head.

Is there anything that can be done apart from becoming a recluse?? Please help

When I watch TV after a bomb scare or act of terrorism/hostage taking, why does no representative of the muslim faith not IMMEDIATELY condem the actions. You never see an imam on the tv criticising it, but when you criticise islam, they say 'this is against the teachings of Islam'. So why dont they criticise, are their arms being twisted.

Ps. does Islam have a heirachal structure to their religion e.g. pope, can anyone be a imam.

I have been reading up in preperation for getting my first snake. I really think I want a corn snake. I went today and looked at some very young snakes (a few months old) and they were all very pale. Almost white with an almost salmon colored pattern, which was very pretty but not like the snakes in the books I have been reading. Are they born with the coloration they will have? I am assuming that they change color as they grow but at what age?

Other tips for a first time corn snake owner would be appreciated. Thanks

I am 5"1, and about 117pounds. I run at least 4.5 miles every week (running lake merced in San Francisco) and do light weight training at home with 5 pound dumbells every other day or so for maybe at least 20 minutes or at least 15 or so?. Can anyone tell me how much protein would be too much for me? Thanks!
