i have a 5 and a 9 yr old boys..every time we go out to a public place i cannot find it in me to et let go in the public bathroom on their own.. took them one to a restaurant and an older men who was outside got outraged with me because they went with me..i CANNOT trust anyone specially in a bathroom on their own ...they are embarrased about going to ladies room but i have to think like a criminal to protect them as much as i can.

I have requirement for making the text visible in some area.
The text is foler path. But if text increases the space is not available for that. So I want to place dots in between the path string.

ex:
E:\backup\My Share\MATERIAL\vc++books\QtProgramming\earthweb\site_earthweb\area_earthweb

I want to show this as
E:\backup\My Share\...\area_earthweb

I am using C++ and Qt. The path is QString or QLabel.

I did manually by caluclating every thing to put dots in between, but I want to know whether is there any other way to do that.

I dated this guy on and off for about 1 1/2 years. We both are stubborn and have a short temper. On some occasions i have feared for my safety when his anger becomes overbearing. I have told him that he scares me because sometimes he would make threats like "if you were a guy i would hit you" and once i remember saying if you're going to hurt me, just do it! He held my throat and stopped short. He has also become increasingly addicted to gambling. Do men like this change or get worse? I have always told him that if he ever hit me i'd be gone, end of story and thats when he calms down. If he ever wanted me back, should i bother with this man?

Ok so I own 2 cars, 1996 Dodge Avenger and a 1987 Cadillac Brougham and neither run. The avenger will turn over and sound very close to starting so im guessing fuel pump.
caddy will start if there is either a new or charged battery but will either die in 3 days or 1 hour. so im guessing its either a short or something unknown to me is draining the battery the alternator is new and works fine... they both have gas they have both ran before.
few questions
1. Are these problems correct, if not what are the problems
2. what would be the prices to fix or a cheap way to fix
3.should i keep one and get rid of one and fix another if so which
4. any other important info or advice I NEED TO DRIVE!

I am an aspiring actress and I am making 5 minute videos to show off my characters and my talent. I want to play different people for example; different races, different accents basically different type of people. I have some ideas in mind but I need more.

I'll be a high school sophomore next year, and I would really like to join my school's girls Cross Country team. This summer I have been running 2-3 miles a day for about 2 weeks so far. However, I'll be away on vacation for about a month and I don't know if I will be able to run where I am vacationing. I know it will probably be hard for me to run when I get back from vacation, and I was wondering what I can do to make it easier to start running again once I return. I was also wondering how much I should be training. I've never been on the cross country team before and I heard that they usually run around 3-5 miles. I can run three miles but I'm still not very fast yet. Is there anything I should be doing to improve my speed besides practice? Also, is it okay if I listen to music while I run? I'm pretty sure I won't be able to listen to my iPod during practices or anything, but will it be harder for me to run if I'm not listening to it? Thanks for your suggestions!
