According to a study by Paul Bell, published in the UK Mensa Magazine in 2002, there is an inverse correlation between religiosity and intelligence. Analyzing 43 studies carried out since 1927, Bell found that all but four reported such a connection, and he concluded that "the higher one's intelligence or education level, the less one is likely to be religious or hold 'beliefs' of any kind."[90] A letter published in Nature in 1998 reported a survey suggesting that belief in a personal God or afterlife was at an all-time low among the members of the National Academy of Science, only 7.0% of whom believed in a personal God as compared to more than 85% of the general U.S. population.[91]

But then, anyone reading through this forum already knew there was a correlation.

The latest card they are pulling has to do with Paris Hilton. They say if she was black this wouldn't happen...blah blah blah!!! Yet, how many black athletes get off on drug charges, weapon charges and even RAPE charges!!!! So, who is getting off light? That race card will get played one time to many soon. Why should I read Dawkins (your favorite poster child, and I mean that literally)? Isn't he just propoganda for your side? Just once, I'd like to see an athiest read both sides of the argument (like "The Case for..." trilogy by Lee Strobel) with an OPEN mind. If Strobel is propoganda for 'our' side, who's more closed-minded? I've aleast read some of Dawkins' material and found him to be immature and childish.

i have been talking to this boy on the phone for about a week and we have so much chemistry. we would speak on the phone from 9pm to 1:30ish in the morning on a school night. he tells me how different i am from the other girls he talked to or had dated. but the best thing he said to me is that he could see himself inlove with me in the future. The split in the Republican Party was more obvious. The issue pitted social conservatives, who insisted that illegal immigrants not be granted "amnesty" for entering the country unlawfully, against business groups hungry for willing workers in hotels, restaurants, construction sites and other comparatively low-wage, low-skilled workplaces.

No Food sent to places in famine

No money to countries for medicine,food,infrastructure nothing

No soldiers sent across the world in time of Natural Disasters, Tsunami hits you killing hundreds of thousands,sucks to be you clean it up yourself!

Another war starts in Europe,clean it up yourself,sucks to be you!

No UN dues,Un goes broke,sorry sucks to be you!

Not one thing to anyone unless we profit from it for two years,at the end of which we can negotiate as to whether we will offer any aid to anyone,and under what conditions.

Would you support that,I think it's a fine idea,really tired of a planet full of ungrateful leeches telling the US we don't do enough,when we give more than the rest of them combined.

from past two days, i am constantly being annoyed by the ticking sound of the indicators which start as soon i turn on the ignition of my 92 accord. last night i found that the left turn indicator keeps on blinking abruptly all the time, but not with same brightness and it doesnt show in the dashboard either. the ticking is faster than the normal ticking, i wonder whats the problem with the signals. please help me with this.

Hi, I have a dell 962 inkjet printer. I usually refill my printer cartridges with no problems, but this time my dell color cartridge which i am refilling for the first time is not working properly. The printer just prints ignoring the color, the refilled black works fine though. I think it may be a problem with the cartridge contacts but any help/comments would be appreciated. Thank you.
