I'm under the care of a physician and a personal trainer this summer, hoping to lose about 40 pounds in 12 weeks. It's baby weight (4 babies in six years!), and this is my chance! I'm excited about their help.
However, I want to do my part, too. I want to maximize my weight loss by eating at the right time. I walk 3 miles in the morning, home by 7:00 a.m. Then I have an aerobics class at 9 a.m. with a friend.
I've been told NOT to eat within an hour after a workout, because you only burn off what you just ate, not anything hanging around on your thighs. I also don't want to make myself sick by eating too close to the start of my 9 a.m. class.
Any thoughts?
