I had spinal fusion surgery back in December. I have never had relief from the pain (6 months after surgery) and learned yesterday that 2 of the screws have broken and they suspect a failed fusion. While this certainly answers my question about why I'm still in so much pain, I'm not sure what to do about it. This pain is dibilitating and I don't know how much longer I can take it but if I don't go back to work I'll lose my job....Anyone else been through this? I feel like I'm starting all over.

To me, it does not mean nothing is someone sits with their back to me in the office but some european people it really hurts. Other cultures are not like that... please explain.

i am 23 i am 5'4 and weigh 190lbs.... but i have a 36dd chest... i need to loose weight bad, but in the right places so that i dont look too top heavy... please give some advice... im thinking about a breast reduction also, i was in a really bad car accident a few months ago and messed up my back, lugging all that weight around up top isnt helping any..... what do you think???

What if your president would convert today to, let's say, Paganism? He would start saying things like "Behind all of life there is purpose, set by the hand of Zeus" and "Thor told me to attack Korea" and "People who don't believe in Ra are not true patriots".

Hi, my and my friend were having a discussion about being wireless while your ISP is AOL Broadband.

What I'd like to know is, say you had a desktop pc and a laptop set up (desktop pc was wired, laptop was the one wireless) with AOL Broadband, would you have to install the AOL software on both of them? and would you have to open AOL up on your laptop to get access to the internet?
My friend says you don't. But I'm pretty sure you do. Who's right?

Also, could the screen name that the desktop pc always signs in as, be used on the laptop at the same time? (In other words, could two people on different computers get on the same screen name at the same time?)

About a month ago I lost a court case and now will owe court costs and maybe even attorneys fees.

My lawyer took this case on contingency and after we had lost, he asked if I would "donate" some money for his costs which understandibly is probably close to $10k. I said I would because I felt bad and because he still has to represent me over the court costs and attorneys fees. So I just said it so he would fight harder for me.

Now he's sending email saying how come I haven't "donated" and that he could still bill me for work on litigating over the court costs.

If I don't "donate" any money he may not try hard and lose on purpose? What should I do????????

I rent a townhouse. My neighbor moved out, and the community decided to jackhammer up their kitchen floor. All day my house has been shaking with incredibly loud noises coming through the walls. They are using jackhammer and large saw, not to mention pounding with large hammers. It sounds like I'm living in a construction site.

My community did not notify me of this work, and it has been going on for days. My children can't take their naps, and the noise is loud enough to give me and my wife sizable headaches. Does this violate my rights under a lease to quiet living, and what can I or should I do about this.

(PS, also the workers left large shards of broken glass in my front lawn where my children play. Not the lawn of the house they are working on.)
