My commute vehicle presently is Yamaha TW200-B with 23K+ miles and with Premium selling over three dollars a gallon my weekly fuel expense is still under nine dollars if I'm not weekending away from my residence; or put another way
I motorcycle year around with a fifteen minute one way ride
on public roadway or twenty-five on an abandoned railroad
embankment through marsh woodlands (sometimes longer
if I've got to chop passage past a fallen tree).

It only takes me 5 minutes to walk for school but unfortunately, I come to the class late so often. And when I get home, I have to take about 150 steps only to my workplace since our house and my workplace are just so near apart. How I wish I could find another job far enough from our house so I can feel that I'm really working but then again, I'm often late for my work. lol

It's a 20 minute drive to work with no traffic to speak of. So much better than when I lived in San Diego.

To work, 4-6 minutes by car.
To class, 20-35 minutes by car depending on which campus I'm going to.
