SOME insurance companies are very picky and want you to lose weight or even have documentation of back health issues before approving coverage for a reduction.

Mine however did not need that. I did not need to lose weight or provide documentation, just the pictures and notice of my complaints when my PS handed in my information to the insurance company.

It is best if you try to lose weight now, but I know how hard it is to work out with large breasts.

This site is a great help to me and hopefully to you:

Edit: Seeing everyone talk about losing weight first... SOMETIMES working out helps you lose in the breast BUT it does not work all the time! It really really all depends on how much fatty versus dense breast tissue is in your breast. If its mostly dense tissue you will NOT lose in the breast (trust me I KNOW!).

And, with a reduction, they take out a LOT of fatty tissue, so if you lose weight after a reduction you should NOT lose any in the breasts as most of the fatty tissue is gone.

I do not normally agree to surgery but even if you do get ur diet in check and work out you cannot expect results in a month and I know alot of weight can be very uncomfortable on a females back. I know your chest is the most important thing to get down but do not find yourself working chest alone. Exercise all body parts with full force and you should be fine and perhaps in the mean time you can see someone to give you massages (a professional) to help your back situation in the meantime. Best of luck.

Lose weight first before the reduction. Some of your chest will be lost when you lose weight. 190lbs is slightly more than I should weigh, and I'm a 6'1" guy. Eat less and exercise - lose about 50 pounds and then see where your chest is.

yeah. I agree completey with the first guy on this. Lose weight FIRST. I was pretty heavy and when I lost weight my chest disappeared. Hahah. I'm sure you don't want it completely gone but I was a B cup to begin with. After weight loss I became an A. So you should go down a cup if you lose a good amount of weight.

YES, you need to loose weight. (1) Take acupressure treatment on all endocrine glands twice daily. ( 2) Drink 1/2 glass of hot water every 30 minutes till you feel fresh. (3) Take the following with hot water : 1/2 teaspoon of Turmeric powder + 1/2 teaspoon of ground Bishop's seeds. (4) Rub the soles with soft nylon brush ( used for washing clothes ) 5 to 10 minutes-three times a day, till the soles are warmer than the head. (5) In the morning in one glass of hot water add juice of half a lemon and one tablespoonful of honey. Drink it That will reduce the desire to eat/drink sweets. (6) Chew food at least 15 times. (7) Drink 3 to 5 cups of green juice a day adding 1 teaspoonful of health drink to each cup. This will help to reduce the body very fast without any side effects. (8) Eat plenty of salads adding 100 grams of sprouted cereals like Mung. Also eat two seasonal fruits + 1 glass of buttermilk. (9) Avoid all food if possible. However, in spite of the above diet, if you feel hungry, take preparations of only wheat or only rice. That will reduce the intake of food. BUT EAT THIS FOOD ONLY WHEN ARE VERY HUNGRY. (10) Do Pranayam + Ling Mudra + Acupressure.
