When you are pregnant, whether its the first pregnancy or subsequent pregnancies. Always alert your doctor of whats happening, just in case something happens later. I started off spotting and I rang my doctor right away and he told me I needed to be in bed and not get up, but it eventually got heavier and I miscarried. Just be careful and ask your husband to be a little more gentlier with you, as you have a little person inside you now.

You should check with your doctor. Some women do bleed through their pregnancies and everything is fine, but I would rather be on the safe side. I lost 3 babies to miscarriage due to heavy bleeding and the doctor said to not have intercourse the 1st trimester when I was pregnant the last time and that time took. Since every women and every pregnancy is different, you should definitely have your doctor examine you for peace of mind.

When I was around 7 weeks pregnant, I had sex with my BF a couple times and always spotted afterward. The spotting went away within a couple of hours or less. I've consulted my DR, he said it was fine as long as I wasn't heavily bleeding and feeling any kinds of pain. But I'm afraid to see any kind of unsual discharge esp. of there's a bit of pinkish, brown or red. So I stopped having sex. Just gotta hold off on sex until after I give birth. But you should consult your DR about this. He may advice you to stop or have another suggestion for you.

i had this happen to me once too about the same time. i went and had an ultrasound and everything was fine im now in my 29th week and it hasn't happened since. a miscarraige would be alot worse. just do what i did it will put your mind at ease. and try to be careful during sex don't get too rough. the blood didn't come out of your uterus but rather your vaginal walls. and you will continue to become more sensitive. i would say since the bleeding has stopped you are fine.

Maybe it's a piece of the brain knocked out by your husband.

It is probably nothing. It's fairly common, especially that early. If you are truly concerned, see your doctor.

I had that all the way through the first trimester and my baby is fine, but just to be safe, let your doctor know. They may check for a heartbeat, just to reassure you.

That happened to me too and everything was fine. You may want to call your doctor just to be sure. As long as you're not cramping and have no pains you are probably fine.

Good luck!

Yes, spotting after sex is normal while pregnant.

But, you should still call the doctor and let them know.

They'll tell you what to watch for.
