I just wonder how a woman as beautiful as you could ever be considered a burden. He really must be an idiot!

I don’t know if your married but I took a vow once that said in sickness and in health.
Even if your not married it still applies if you hope to one day become husband and wife.
It seems like he'd put money before his love for you.
Getting sick happens to everyone. I've been supportive in the past for several major operations my wife has had and not one of them has broke me. I love her so much it wouldn't matter because being together is more important than bills.
I would make sure he wasn't joking before I left but you're the only one who has to live with him and it sounds like your extremely unhappy about what he said.

he clearly does not love you to say suckh a thing! Talk it through with him and if he is still an idiot leave him. It may be hard but there is someone for you out there who will not be this way good luck!

Dump him, from the looks of it, you can do much better and be with someone that will think of you as a blessing and not as a burden.

Yes, pack your stuff and tell him you don't want to burden him anymore with his worries about your future and HIS money. And never look back.

well yeah i would say so. if you are too materialistic or dependant for him then you should find someone who will suit your needs...i mean you do want to be with someone who take care if you when you get sick :)
