Sure Have.

But remember when He cursed the Fig tree so that it wouldn't bear any more fruit. Only that ONE tree died - not every fig tree in Judah.

I think when He speaks, it is very specific, and expicitly implied.

a long time ago someone told me a story i dont really remember the details but i really liked it:

when Russia was still a communist country, there was a big kinda meeting, there were so many people listening to what was being taught. Now the speaker, an atheist, held the Bible and all he did was mock it and try to condradict it.!!!
He started from the old testament, making fun about everything in it, then he started with Lazarus' story mocking and then he said : "well why would Jesus call his name couldnt he just tell him to come forth"

so a Christian who was in the hall listening stood up and said in a high voice" if Jesus hadnt called Lazarus by name and simply said come forth than all would have come out of the grave". so the hall started getting gradually empty. almost everyone left the meeting!!! and it was a total failure to the poeple who prepared it!!!
it is a true story.
hope you like it.

Jesus Lives!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interesting thought. Makes one think, but I'm not sure it would have happened that way. He also says that God knows the words before you say them, so I'm sure that Lazarus would have still been the only one to come forth.

Any mistakes would have been edited out of the story.

The other couple of guys called Lazarus in the cemetery who also arose from the grave were quickly dispatched with a bash over the head with a shovel no doubt and re-interred forthwith.

The Bible is truly a beautiful Book. And I threw it before. Today I kissed it every time I read it. Your subject is a mystery to most people even I did not see this part. Truly awakening. I have read the Bible so many times and each time more is reveal. That is God promise to his children. Nothing is hidden to his child. To those that is not His, it's a mystery to them. When I read the books of other faith writers which question the Bible I could not help but praise God Almighty for his great wisdom. Let the blind lead the blind. For us Christian let's keep sharing the word of God.

Never thought of it like that, but I do agree. If Lazarus wasn't the only one, then they all would have come out. I like this....thanks.

No, Because Jesus call him forth by God leading him to do this, & God knew who will come forth, Remember God has the final say, & Jesus said, I do Nothing unless my father shows me.
