My 16 year old step-daughter is a chronic liar who lies about important things (e.g., sexual acitivity) and unimportant things (e.g., food in her room). She comes from a troubled background and we just got custody of her about 14 months ago. Hubby and I have differing approaches when she lies and I would like to know your collective opinion of how to be approach this.

When we know she is lying, hubby prefers to just blurt out "Save it, I know you're lying, don't want to hear your crap". I, on the other hand, begin my case of showing her how I know she is lying, presenting the evidence to her, trying to get her to confess, etc. Suddenly I am in the middle of my very own case of "Law and Order" and I can't help but wonder if she enjoys all this focus I then have on her. Hubby says this is a huge waste of time and I am only frustrating myself (true, I guess). What would you do?

Does anyone know if I can have the vet take out the puppies or it will be to risky for her, I don't care if is not time for them to be born, I just want my little chihuahua to be ok, and at the same time operate her so she doesn't have no more puppies ever. Can someone tell me if they have been in this situation or if you had have a dog taken out the puppies before their time?

Hi I have a 3.10 OE-A PSP. I can only play one of my UMDS now and that is Twisted Metal: Head On. I think its because it dosent require a certain firmware. Well anyways why cant I play games like Daxter or GTA. Is there some kinda way to fix this?

When I was a youngster, our family always sat down to breakfast together and dinner every day. We discussed and shared our lives and talked about everything. It made us as children feel whole and complete. I was just curious as to how many of you still sit down to some meal together. I think a lot of our societal issues would be different if we made time together to do things with our families. What do you do for family time? What do you talk about? Do you listen to your children? Do you find these times are great "teaching moments?" I have lunch once a week with different groups of students and I have found it makes a difference in their attitudes, their responses to homework and their behavior, and they get to talk about subjects they want to know about. I am interested in your honest responses as I'd like to use the information (no names) to support my Masters thesis. Thank you very much Community Members.

I been living with autism since i was born and now at my teenage stage i feel it gone worse or not. I have been going to speech therapy since kindergarten and stll i improve slowly.
