In a world steeped in illusion it's amazing that its inhabitants have greater belief in the common mosquito
than they have in a supreme being ( God, Yawyeh, Allah, etc.).
Its no wonder that the world is in the condition it is in.
I'll leave it in your hands as to which one of you has given the best answer.

No there is no need to look for a scientific answer to the existence of the most annoying creature on the planet. Because I've actually seen them with my own two eyes. That right there is usually enough proof for me. Now about the "supreme being", that is another deal all together. I've seen a "supreme being" or anything that would make me start to believe in one either. And by the way, That was a stupid question, and one has absolutely nothing to do with the other.

No, because the mosquito actually exists. It is non-negotiable or arguable: the mosquito can be touched (or squashed), and is a living, breathing, observable being.
So no, they would not look for scientific proof that the mosquito actually exists.
They look for scientific proof that a "God" exists, because, if you follow science (which I can't imagine why anyone with more than an IQ of 50 wouldn't), the concept of God and his biblical escapades is highly illogical and improbable.
Does that mean it doesn't exist? Absolutely not. But they cannot prove it, just as the pious cannot prove their precious God exists, either.

Hmm let's see. I might actually *see* the mosquito. That's evidence. I might hear it (I detest that distinctive buzzzz), which is also evidence. I would most certainly feel the sting of it, and having been bitten by many mosquitoes in the past, would more than likely deduce based on that evidence that it was in fact a mosquito that bit me. But if I did not see, hear or feel the mosquito, I would certainly not lose any sleep over it. I would, based on past experience, assume it was a mosquito and not, say, a brown recluse. Should my nose begin to rot off my face, I might be of a mind to change my mosquito theory.

Umm, if an atheist was bitten on the nose by a mosquito, would he seek scientific proof that he was really bitten by a bug and not by God himself? God hasn't bitten me in the nose, so I don't know much about what that would be like. Atheists do believe in mosquitoes.

There would be evidence of the mosquito (being the itchy lump on your nose). Also we know that mosquitoes exist. So there is scientific proof that the mosquito can exist.
There is no evidence of any kind of God. Past, present or future.

We know mosquitos exist.. Why would we need to look to sceince to prove it's existance when it's already been proven...
And if it flies away unseen? the bite leaves the evidence visual the irritated bump caused by antigens in the mosquito's saliva....
Sceince has already taught us that mosquitos exist and the signs of a bite even if the actual mosquito isn't seen..
Please troll again...

if an atheist was bitten on the nose by a mosquito chances are he would have seen it so no he or she would not. in the event that he did not see it then yes he or she probably would unless of course the bite was enough evidence.... now get to the point...

Don't need to since it is already there. Did Noah put the mosquitoes on his ark? How about the ants? How much food was on that ark to support every animal in the word? I love believing in things that someone told me to believe in, no matter how silly it sounds.

Yes because it is obvious and that in itself serves as scientific proof; an atheist would complete this process of looking for proof so quicklyy that it would be instantaneous. The existence of God, however, is not obvious and therefore they doubt.

Sweetie, I know you think you're being all clever here but you're not.
That's comparing apples and oranges.
Now go back inside your little bubble and don't come out again until you got something a wee bit more substantial.
