I am living in a very old house and will be for the next few years while saving and building our new home on our property. The house by no means is pretty and I do want to fix it up a little with out putting too much money into it. The bathroom is one thing that I am going to work on. The tub is just fine it the wall around it. When they built the house they put boarding up around the tub so it is not tiled at all. I dont know exactly what is behind it but I do know its not properly done. There is a window that I can see on the outside of the bathroom and the tub wall is actually over it. I guess as some point the updated (poorly) the bathroom and did this. It looks horrible and I guess I just want to do the same but with new materials that are not so outdated looking and that are clean. I am assuming that we can use a tub wall to just put around the tub. I wanted to know if this is something that is hard to do??? There is a door on the side of the tub that goes to the

I always think it's funny how people make fun of beleivers in an afterlife (christians, muslims, jews, etc) as if they're brainwashed idiots...and YET, atheists are doing the EXACT SAME THING by stating they know WITH CERTAINTY, what happens to one's conciousness after they die...but atheists are somehow more logical and enlightened? I think not...

Here's my theory on what happens to our conciousness after we die...and the answer is...I DON'T KNOW. I repeat, I DON'T KNOW. I think saying "I don't know", is BY FAR, the most intelligent answer. And the reason, is we all share 1 thing in common...NONE OF US HAVE DIED YET! So the form of agnosticism that admits it is a fundamentally unknowable answer (until one dies), has always made the most sense.

It's funny really, pretending you "know" one way or the other.
It's like if I never opened a closet in my house, but i claim to "know" what's in it. Foolish, wouldn't it be? Both beleivers and atheists are guilty of that logic.

i am seeing plenty of christians on this site bagging muslims, jews, atheist and even some of their own. why dont you grow up and show the repect you expect from everyone else to those around you. jesus told you not to judge but i see plenty of christians out there judging people.

if we are going to get a long we are going to need to show tolerance. accept peoples differences, if you dont agree you can pray for them but dont judge. its a big world we can all live together.

My husband and I finally have enough airline miles for both of us to fly there. Luckily we have a friend we can stay with for a few days in Sydney. But we want to travel around the country as well.
