Because they make me feel good about myself and I know there is no jealousy on their part.They know how to be honest with a person without malice and without hurting another persons feelings. I know it is from the heart when they offer a compliment.. I would rather have a gay guy friend than a back stabbing female acquaintance.

I would think because the women can talk to them without being afraid of the gay guy wanting to get them into bed like most other straight guys.
Maybe it is because gay guys are more interesting.

Because they are generally more feminine than they are. The love shopping, decorating, fashion and gossip. I LOVE gay men so much that I created one (my 2nd son, out of 3, is gay!!) So if you ever wonder where that sentimental man is, the one who will watch Lifetime with you, share the trials of "what to do with your hair", the one who can actually give you and opinion of the outfit you are wearing, who likes to go shopping without complaining....sorry girls, he's with another guy!!

The feminine gay guys will wash your hair and dye it and paint your toe nails and gossip with you. You can almost forget he is feminine for a while and pretend he is a normal guy.

Several women have told me that they enjoy hanging out with Gay men because they can have good fun, good conversation , and at the end of the evening they aren't going to be expected to "Put out" like the straight guys expect of them. They don't feel used like they feel with straight guys.

atease with guys who can relate to women
Men who are masculine try to run things all women want sometimes is someone to listen

I have gay male friends, I find it very easy to relate to them, I can talk about art, clothes, books, movies with them and they won't go "Bah!" the way some straight men would (though my husband knows better to say "Bah!" to anything I want to talk about. ;) )

Because they can relate, get the opinion of both sides, and not feel threatened of being taken advantage of. (sexually)
