The job I have is a Call Center job. You answer phones. If you don't reach their quality standards, you are put onto a monitoring plan. 2 consecutive months on the plan and you're terminated. Can you qualify for unemployment? I live in NY state.

I realize that the aerodynamics (or fluid dynamics) of the engineered blades are ideal -- proven through rigorous testing and re-design. But if all of this development and high tech materials make the blades so expensive that we can only put three to a rotor then maybe all of that R&D is wasted time and money. Why couldn't we just make rotors with many uncomplicated and cheep sheet metal blades. The greater number of blades would guarantee that more energy was harnessed in light winds and the pitch of these blades could be rotated in high winds so that they didn't rev at too high an RPM for the dynamo to make efficient energy. It just seems to me that with greater surface area comes greater harnessing of the wind's potential energy. I know that more blades create more drag but wouldn't that be cancelled out by the greater amount of wind energy harnessed and therefore the more electricity produced

Aside from that... what positive things can people think of that has happened or changed in this country or in the whole world that've directly resulted from the events of 9/11?

If nothing good can be admitted about the horrible events of that day, wouldn't that be like conceding a complete victory to the terrorists' attack?

I saw a video on the internet with a terrorist laughing. I think he was laughing at America.

I want America to win always. Even against ideologies and religions and cultures. We're safer that way. My money's riding on it.... Freedom ain't Free, ya know. $!CHA-CHING!$

I am really looking into adoption right now. I have been talking to this family i adore. Everything would be okay I know it. But I am sooo worried about the regret I may have. I couldn`t bring myself to have an abortion. And please don`t lecture me, I am doing the right thing by not aborting and 1) keeping it, or 2 ) giving it to a loving family who is trying so hard.

I just want to see how you guys would feel, and if you could do it. I want to know if there was anyone on here who has done it. It is proving to be the hardest thing I have ever done in my life, and this is just deciding.
