I see plenty of atheists bagging christians Jews muslims why don't you grow up and stop judging everyone else?
this question was posted in reverse a few minutes ago, now for another point of view.
I posted this to show you how there is two point of views.

Pin...this was not my question, I copied it and put the word "Atheists" were they had "Christan" to make a point, to see the reaction when the question was thrown back at him

I really did not mean to bug anyone I just wanted to do a experiment, seeing how the other side, (if you will) would react to the "same" question that was asked towards Christians

Nice. You've just made a gargantuan, sweeping generalization about a group of people that is only certainly united in one respect.
so when the athesist asked this to the Chistands 5 minutes ago is that what he was doing?

I did a question not too long ago asking why people came to yahoo answers. Most of them were from atheists saying they liked to basically attack religion because they think religions are stupid.
Ya, I'm getting sick of it too. And from now on I'm reporting all peoples who do such things.

Nice. You've just made a gargantuan, sweeping generalization about a group of people that is only certainly united in one respect. A lack of belief. It's not even a common cause, for crying out loud.
Edit: (The atheist was doing the exact same thing, except that Christians are united by more than a lack of belief, they are united in the positive assertion of the Divinity of Jesus - for the most part. I don't know who this person is, when they posted the question, or anything about them, but I don't condone their behavior).
Alrighty, question number one.
I don't tolerate religions because irrationality scares me, and is a danger to both myself and the human race. Faith also bothers me, because it says the we should stop searching for the answers. Religion is not a means for discovering truth, it is an end.
Question two.
I'm not judging people. I can say objectively that religion is irrational. It is irrational, not stupid, bad, or wrong; the irrationality can lead to stupid, bad, or wrong conclusions, though.
Question three.
If you're trying to make a point to theists, the best way to do so is to quote something that they find to be absolute truth. The point isn't to convince yourself that deity X isn't real, it's to convince the theist.
Question four.
This doesn't seem like a question. Besides, everyone accuses everyone. You're the one that needs to grow up and realize that, and determine whether your beliefs can stand up to the accusations. If they can't, I suggest new beliefs.

Faith of any kind usually requires the person to broadcast their beliefs to anyone and everyone whether they want to listen or not. Look at the KKK. Do you think majority of the world wants to hear their crap? No, but they say it anyway to get more followers. It is the same with bible thumpers, Muslims, terrorists, politicians, pretty much anyone that needs a majority to get better standings and more power. Power is the real key here, not religion. Hope this helps and don't hold your breath on no more accusations or propaganda!!!! Have a great day!!!

Oh .... cool .... I can get 4 points with 1 answer :D
Hey .... it is a two way thing. Can ask I ask a Christian / Muslim to accept the idea that there is no god and they are imagining things? or can I ask an atheist to accept the opposite? I can quite sure they can't.
To accept people differences' will mean to accept the opposed ideology, which is sometime not possible. Tolerate the difference is another thing altogether. To take down the throat without retaliating is another matter totally :P.

I posted this same question and got the same responses.
I've never tried to pass any laws, I've never picketed an abortion clinic. I appreciate the fact that I and you are afforded the God-given right to choose or not choose Him.
I think it is interesting how we Christians understand that Atheisism is a tool of the enemy and how when we ask them to explain why they attack us so much they respond by attacking us and telling us we're the intolerant ones and insulting our beliefs.
I have an acquittance who was cool with me until he learned that I was a Christ follower. From that day forward he stopped talking to me, stopped hanging out with me, and basically started treating me like a leper.
Keep in mind, I haven't tried to win him over, nor have I told him he's going to go to hell. I haven't even given the guy a Bible. Suddenly though, he seems very aloof towards me.
Funny how real life works out,....

Lets get one thing straight. "Not everyone who doesn' believe in God or Gods is an atheist, many are agnostics."
Many atheists and agnostics are sick and tired of religious groups trying to shove their beliefs down our throats and telling us how we should be living our lives.
America is supposedly a country where there is a division of church and state, yet religious groups constantly want to change the law to suit their own values, this is crap.
In Europe if you are into religion, you shut the f-ck up about it and carry on with your life, I wish xtians here would do the same thing.
Xtianity is a vile cult, its responsible for the deaths of millions, ie "Crusades, inqusition, Conquest of the americas."
It held mankind back for centuries, it controlled millions of peoples lives for centuires.
Yes Xtianity is just a cult, that thanks to a certian Roman emperor, it became the dominant religion in Europe, if it hadn't have been for him, it would have gone the same way as most religions, the way of the dinosaurs.

Human nature is to judge - yo have made a judgement about someone within th first 30 seconds - or less - of knowing someone.
Tolerance, like respect, is earned.
When the hatred stops flowing their way because their beliefs are different, then perhaps they will stop as well, did you think of that?
So, exactly HOW did YOUR question here help stop this behavior, or did you just perpetuate it?
Certainly didn't stop it.

You are right
I have come across a couple of questions and the answers has lead me to believe that most of the atheists here are in their 20's.
Pretty young to have such hardened beliefs.
Of course they see blatant lies and simplistic teachings in many of today's churches so I do not blame them a bunch. There is the later in life - more experience - and recognition of the big picture.

Atheism is a fairy tale for adults who can't deal with reality. It's like alcoholism or drug addiction. because they want the universe to work THEIR way instead of God's way, they simply say He doesn't exist. Unfortunately for them, that is like convincing yourself that the police and the court judge do not exist and therefore you do not have to obey the law because there is no one to enforce it. They are in for a very rude awakening.
But I WILL agree with someone here who said that religious people trying to enforce their views by law. According to the Bible - by Jesus Himself, as a matter of fact - Christians are strictly forbidden to do such a thing. The U.S. is a constitutional republic, not a theocracy, and therefore no one's personal religious view should be used to dictate human rights to sovereign citizens.
HOWEVER, for a person to give up God and the Bible simply because they don't like Christians is as stupid as someone refusing to believe the world is round just because they don't like Christopher Columbus.

Right now, I think that atheists have the burden of proof. This means that since they are the minority, they have to try harder to show that they are right. The same thing happened with the theory of evolution. And the best way to get along is to stop making generalizations; the most religious tolerant person I know is atheist.
