i have problem understanding angles and its properties.. i cant post an image here.. so i posted under ICEDOR's Elementary Maths Forum.. its under forums- Level 100 Grade 7- Angles.., how to find x..

I looked at the problem
i have to say it is kinda hard but this is what I figured
If u extend the bottom line to the left and the line which makes the 295 degree angle coming from the top line so that it intersects the bottom line, then u have something going on ..
I know this is a lot.. therefore check out the picture i made.

c = 180 - (5x + 13)

pretty sneaky problem. If you extend the line that forms the angle 5x+13 with the lower parallel line until it intersects the top parallel line, you will form a triangle with the 3 angles: the angle 2x-24, the supplement of 5x-13, and the supplement of (360-295 deg). Figure them out, and add them up to equal 180 (I got x=26)
