My freind really needs help.Her mom is beating her and the police won't help!How much trouble would she get in for recording(on tape recorder and or video) what is going on because I know its ilegal?And she lives in Ney York City.

I recently got a tattoo with a lot of colors (predominatly red), in sharp contrast to the other tattoo's I have which are plain black. This tattoo seems to be having a much harder time healing than any I have had in the past. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I'm sure it's nothing to worry about too much, but I have also noticed that this one is bluring. As the skin is raising where the tattoo is, it also seems to be spreading, causing some of the finer areas (although there aren't many to avoid future bleeding of the colors) to lose their definition. When the scabing is complete, will the tattoo be back to it's sharp image? I have now had the tattoo for 3 days, and while it hasn't scared or peeled yet, it is obviously getting ready to in the next 24 to 48 hours.

For Jehova Witnesses it means they cannot pledge allegience to the flag, a peice of cloth, or even the state it represents.

For muslims, it means they cannot even have images, sculptures, paintings, etc of their god Allah. Muslims hold the ten commandments to be true also.

What does it mean for christians who pledge allegience to the flag and state and worship at the foot of sculptures of Jesus and/or Mary?

For the past two days my monitor will randomly turn black for 0.5 seconds, or make a clicking sound and then turn off and then immediately on again. It keeps doing these when you least expect it. Usually when I'm just near the computer, but no on it.

I have NEC MultiSync 75 CRT 17" monitor.

It's fairly new and in perfect condition. I have never had a problem with it.

I changed the power coord, and blew in the holes of it, and also reconnected my video card, so hopefully it goes away. So far so good, but like I said, it's random and could come when I least expect it.

I don't know if this is why my monitor has been acting up but I have been also getting a CMOS error whenever I unplug my computer and turn it on. I have to press F1 to continue. Some say I need a new battery for my computer.

Could this be the cause of my monitor behaviour?

My twin sister's husband is so mentally slow that he can't even spell his own name, but he's smart enough to know how to drive a stick shift. He's a jerk & he leeches off of her Veteran's Benefits & pumps her up with many kids so he can get more money, & he also beats on her.

I have a college degree & can't even drive a stick. Driving a stick is a technical & difficult task. I'm very interested in learning how to drive one.

his little guy doesn't work???

I've been inimate with this guy 5 times waiting for him to feel comfortable hoping he can get his "little guy" to perform but no such luck. The last two times he asked me out I said no but he is going to keep asking. I dont know what to say to him. The guy doesn't seem to have much confidence with women.He wants a compaionship yet he can't function and wont explain why. how do i tell him thanks but no thanks without hurting his feelings and causing more damage to the little one???

For some reason everytime the thought runs across my head about how I deserve something or when I hear someone say "I deserve this," my initial reaction is to say "Nobody deserves anything." But am I justified in my rebuttal? Is it possible to claim that nobody deserves anything? If a person works hard for something does he or she deserve to get something in return? If so then why? If not, is that just life and the way the cards are dealt?

Unfortunately, biking (especially sport bikes) is dominated by guys. Has anybody read stats in a magazine or somethere telling what percentage of riders are females? Ones that have their own bikes? Especially females under 30? There are a lot of Harley ladies out there, but not too many younger ones...

Not to be blasphemous, but certain configurations of people's components when out of proportion do render them as ugly in people's perception. Universally so to varying but similar degrees. As long as all components of someone's physical makeup are symmetrical and aligned or placed properly, then you may or may not be rendered aesthetically pleasing, or even 'sexy'. But if you are out of alignment, then you may be doomed to a life of video games and fast food/snacks and your right hand. Or even lower on the spectrum you may need to resort to large crack hits and freak show porn to stave off the depravity. Why must one carry around this? Can one not get a reprieve for good deeds done? Can we not find some way to use hi-tech tools to recraft one's facial structure (like Logan's Run)? Or must they be resigned to loading the crack pipe and accquiring new brain lesions henceforth and forthwith and furthermore? Whoa. NOone knows what's it's like - to be me.

what is antimatter ?

i recently watched a pragram on discovery which said tht is is the most dangerous thing known 2 humanity ever. it said that just a pinhead of antimatter was enough 2 blow up the new york city.
and bout a kg of it would be enough 2 blow up the entire earth!

is this true, if it is then wht r the possibilities of man acquiring it by the eng of the century and blowing himself up?

My last name is absolutely embarrassing. People think that it is cool, but I get made fun of because of it. I've even got a theme song from the lunch ladies =[ It's also a mouthful. I've told my mom to change her last name to my grandmas last name, but she said that it is too much paper work, court work, ect. I want a more.. casual last name. My step mom's last name is short and easy on the ears, is it possible that I change my last name to hers?
