Bats are more closely related to primates than rodents, and just something up there somewhere that really got me, something about "bats aren't rodents, they're mammals".... rodents -are- mammals, warm blooded, fur or hair, live birth, mother nurses her young, yep.... rodents are mammals, alright.
Anyway, bats and mice can't reproduce, and even though I'm thinking that this question is just one of those stupid joke questions that pop up from time to time, you really should let the bat go outside if you still have it, that is of course unless it bit you... bats are one of the major carriers of rabies in north america, after all, and rabies is no fun... This being said, I also wouldn't handle the mouse you had it with or feed it to the snake, i know reptiles can't catch rabies, but who knows what all else that bat is carrying, and as was mentioned earlier, you really shouldn't feed wild prey to your pets.

A bat isn't a rodent. But just a comment for Lindajune a small percentage of humans and chimps are able to reproduce. I saw it on a documentry about that queer looking chimp Oliver I think it was called.

First of all, bats arent rodents, there mammals. They have a bone resemblance to humans.
Second of all, together they cant mate. Seperately with their own kind... they can! The only way u can breed them togethr is by injecting DNA from the one animal to the other!(Yes they relly do that).

Sounds like a good experiment. But what if they're both boys or both girls? Then nothing will happen.
But if one is a boy and one is a girl, I still don't think they can mate because they may be both rodents but that doesn't mean they can reproduce.
Humans and gorillas are both primates and I don't think there have every been any human/gorilla matings (and I'm sure people would have tried it at least once).

Call your local Department of Agricukture or Humane Society. They are trained to remove the bats (if there is a nest), and they have the facilities to take care of the one that you've caught. Remember that bats do carry many diseases, and if you are bitten, the rabies shots that you'll have to go through are extremely painful.

No, they are too different on a chromosomal level. Essentially, only the same species can reproduce because they have to share the same genetic makeup. Of course, you do have mules that are born of very like structures, but bats and mice are way too different.

Yes. They have small wings and can only fly for short distances like chickens. They are mostly mouse-like in behavior other than the 5 to 10% of each litter that prefer sleeping upside down. They have some of the vestigal sonar organs, but they are non-functioning.

They will not mate.
Let the bat go.....do you have any idea how many different diseases and parasites it could transfer to the snake? Never feed your snake wild-caught food.

no, the bat would eat the mouse or- if its smaller avoid it. if they actually try to mate it woudn't work because they're not th same species and their sexual organs would have different nutrients
