i am seeing plenty of christians on this site bagging muslims, jews, atheist and even some of their own. why dont you grow up and show the repect you expect from everyone else to those around you. jesus told you not to judge but i see plenty of christians out there judging people.
if we are going to get a long we are going to need to show tolerance. accept peoples differences, if you dont agree you can pray for them but dont judge. its a big world we can all live together.

Okay, i may have been a harsh, i have tainted all with the one brush. but i had just asked a question directed at muslims and got an answer back that attack muslims as evil. i read other info in here on a question on what a muslim could do with a bible, most where telling him that his prophet was evil and that he should turn back to the bible. this place is to learn about each other, not to judge each other.

1.) Atheist are far more vocal in attacking Christians (that I've seen) then vice versa.
2.) I got no problem with Jews. Wait a sec. Wasn't Jesus a Jew? Why don't you ask why Atheist are so mad about Jesus? (Let me save you the trouble, I did and got told how judgmental and intolerant I was.
3.) I try to learn about other religions, even if I disagree with them. My spectrum of friends is vast and I love them all as Christ loved them.
4.) I'm not going to talk Muslims because well, to be frank, we aren't the only ones talking trash on them. They are a very unpopular faith at the moment given the political climate and such.

The Judge - Long gown. Solemn face. Decides what the criminal's punishment shall be. This is not the Christian's job.
The Police - Badge and gun. Courteous, but firm. Catches, cuffs and hauls them in. Again, not the Christian's job.
The speed limit sign - Honest, factual, accurate. Needn't be intimidating or threatening, but definitely lets you know where your behavior stands with the Judge. Yeah, that sounds like a Christian's job.
Of course, if you feel "judged" by the speed limit sign that says "55" as you drive by at 63 MPH, then you don't have a problem with the sign, you have a problem with your behavior.
If I tell you that God does not like stealing, I'm not judging you, I'm giving you a chance to check yourself, and line up your behavior with God's expectations of you.
BTW - Here's the #1 speed limit sign of all time. And it's directed at ALL HUMANS.
JESUS SAVES.
If you drive by this sign and feel comfort, great. If you drive by and don't, then take an opportunity to check yourself.

Hey .... it is a two way thing. Can ask I ask a Christian / Muslim to accept the idea that there is no god and they are imagining things? or can I ask an atheist to accept the opposite? I can quite sure they can't.
To accept people differences' will mean to accept the opposed ideology, which is sometime not possible. Tolerate the difference is another thing altogether. To take down the throat without retaliating is another matter totally :P.

Unless specified, you can't really tell what religion someone is by the person's answer. Just because a statement or a comment sounds like it was given by a christian doesn't mean it came from a christian. And don't judge many by the responds of a few; we are not all the same!

I am tired of the one way accusations in here. there are plenty of other people in here of all beliefs or non beliefs that "bag" and harass Christians.
There are also a lot of tolerant, nice and smart people in each of these groups as well.
Don't judge a whole group by some, it's not very tolerant

He spoke of not judging anothers salvation. If a Bible-believing Christian say that he is saved, we can't turn around and say, "No you're not." However, we can judge according to the fruit of his salvation. In other words we can get a pretty good idea of his sincerity by what he does in his life.
Jesus also said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. None may come to the Father but through Me." If we are to follow the example of Jesus, then we must judge according to His tenets. When Christians judge, they are to judge by the Word of God. God doesn't tolerate sin. He does not expect us to, either.

You are generalizing.
You are judging Christians are you not?
Some things can be tolerated and some things cannot be tolerated. Sometimes people are just giving their opinion and it is viewed as intolerance. Evil cannot be tolerated in any form. And the fact is you can't tell other people what to say and do.

Amen. Peace out!! Those who show hate and judgement are not following the teaching of Christ. We may not accept to belive as others but we should endeaveor to show by our actions and words. There is entirely too much hate shown by RELIGOUS people and most on the internet. I respect that you have the right to belive as you see fit and to not put you down for your aquired beliefs.
While I sometimes chastise my fellow believers, I try to do so in love reminding all to

I'm a Christian, and you'll never see me disrespecting anyone -- on or off of this site -- because of their faith. I can share my beliefs with others, but I would never be presumptuous enough to tell another person they were wrong for not agreeing with me or that they are damned for doing so. Judgement is reserved for God and God alone.
My father is a practicing Pagan and my mother is an agnostic with a taste for new-age things, and I never try to convert them or accuse them of being evil. I have a wonderful relationship with my parents.

I'm not sure that this was really a question.... but, I deal with people case by case... The only religious issues that I think are NOT okay is when someone (be it a Muslim, Jew, Christian, atheist, or whatever else you want to call yourself) decides to try and stop other religious groups from being able to worship (or not worship) however they'd like... Or when a certain group intentionally causes other people pain and suffering (physical or emotional). [Basically that covers bombers, the Phelps-Roper group, and other such horrible acts]
I'm a Christian, but I really don't think it's right to try and force other people to believe like i do.... Especially if they already have their own beliefs...
