If he had a private practice you probably now owe his estate. If he was part of a group practice, you still owe them the money.

Most offices will contact the patients served by a doctor if something about the practice has changed. Otherwise continue making payments as you have in the past.

Now you either owe his practice or his estate that money, it's not just wiped clean because he died. It's not a matter just of the right thing to do, it's a matter of the legal thing to do. At some point if you don't pay soon, you'll be receiving another bill.

pay the bills. that would be disrespectful not to. i mean,come on...the guy died and the least you could do is still pay. at least you are alive. common sense...
