How do I factor:

4x^2-3x-1=?

3x^2-4x+1=?

I dont even get this is sooo confusing to me, cause factoring is super hard, and dont get why anyone could get this comlicated maths. Please, I dont want stright anwsers please show step by step whys theres a (x-1)?

my mom died on easter an i guess she didn't retitle my truck and change my plates. if you say to your self "why didn't he do it him self", well i don't know because i moved after my mom moved and didn't know where the place was and i have never done anything like the tileing or registration.

Well today was my last day of class for the college semester. Well I really like/look up to my college math teacher and I wrote her a letter and told her that I looked at her as not only a teacher, but a friend. Well, she wrote me back and told me at the end of the message... "One more thing...Call me (First Name)! So she wants me to address her by her first name and not by Mrs. (last name) anymore.. does this mean she is saying she wants to be my friend?

last night,she got into the bathroom trash can and we found a chewed disposable razor with the blade gone. Could it have cut her internally or could it be something else. She is still eating fine, and playful. She likes to sleep a lot but otherwise she seems healthy. this is the first time she has had any blood in her stools and the first time we have seen blood. Do we need to take her to the vet immediately or can we wait and observe. She has had three diahrea stools in 2 hours.

once again i have relationship problems. First of all, let me say, I live in a really SMALL TOWN! We have one red light in the parish (which is like a county)! Anyway, with that said, it's way different than life in city and having friends!
When my husband and I first start dating his friends hated me, because they knew we were serious and they thought I was taking him away-as if! Anyway, at the time he traveled with work, they would always claim to see me out with another guy, even when I had been working all night! One of the friends is the worst of all and is now dating my best friend! He and I also work together, in different depts, but still together!
He has openly tried to hav eme fired, at the very least suspended by trying to claim I had not done my job correctly, even though there were recorded conversations and records proving I had done everything right, and these records CANNOT be changed, it's not possible! He actually tried to claim that I had managed to change them, I'm just not that good!

I just bought my first guitar today and I'm totally lost!!! I really need help learning. I'm having the hardest time placing my fingers on the chords. My hands are quite small and my left isn't as limber as my right. Any advice??? How can I learn to read tabs??? They are confusing me....lol. my stupid geography teacher lisend in to me and my girlfriends conversation about how we were going to have sex on the weekend and thats NOT HIS BIZNESS but he called both of our parrents and now my girlfriends parrents hate me and they said she was grounded til she breaks up with me. of corse she lied and told them she broke up with me but really she didnt . i really love her and she loves me and i want to be with her for a long time but now i dont think thats posible because of her parrents caz we will have to sneak if we ever want to go out to like the movies or somthing...and i know i cant go to her house anymore unless her parrents arent home.

It's my native home and I absolutely love it. I live in Texas now, which is the ONLY state greater than Louisiana. However, I miss the accessibility to the best shrimp, as well as crawfish and gumbo. The people are still friendly, the culture is unique from any other in the world, the beauty of the swamps is mystic and intriguing, and I even think New Orleans is a great city (but a horribly abused one at that, even long before Katrina.)

I had to have stiches in my hand. They told me to keep it dry and gave me Hydrocodeine for pain and cephalexin cap 500MG to prevent infection. It is much more swollen today and hurts like crazy. Yesterday, it looked like they butchered a pig in the ER! There was blood all over! I was trying to get two salmon patties apart with a knife and accidentally stabbed my hand with the knife. Is it normal to be more swollen and hurt more today than yesterday? I had to have 7 stitches and they had to repair the artery that was sliced.? My whole hand is so swollen it is hard to bend my fingers. What are the warning signs that should send me back to the ER?
