ive had stuffy nose and sore throat and coughing mucus off and on for a month now last week i was better and two weeks before that i was so sick and now i feel like i did at the beginning again! any 1 experience this at all while pregnant or just this year! ive never had allergies and was wondering if it was instead of a cold or viral thing???what allergies are out now in the north east area? please help 30 weeks pregant and miserable and my baby shower is this weekend!

I went in for my first prenatal appt yesterday. I am 9 weeks pregnant today. The midwife that saw me said that it was probably too early to hear the heartbeat, but she said I might be farther along. She felt the top of my uterus a little higher than normal for 9 weeks. She put the dopplar on my belly and in less than a min, she found the heartbeat and it was strong and very clear. Is 9 wks too early to hear the heartbeat, or could I be farther along?

I am getting ready to sell a house in Lousiana. I moved to Kansas a couple of years ago for a job, and bought a house here last year with no money down (it was all tied up in the other house). I am concerned that I will show a decent profit on the old house, bought it for $67,000 in 1998 and expect it should sell for at least $120,000 on the current market. I need to move as much money as I can into my current house to hopefully pay off the second mortgage on it at least, but I'm expecting that with high Kansas taxes and US taxes that I will take a pretty big hit. Anybody been through this before, and have any advise?

OK, so my husband and i have been having problems for a year. We've been begging each other for more from eachother and neither of us has given in...not because we don't want to but that we are waiting for the other to give in first...I know childish. I guess the problem has come that my husband told me he gave up on me being better so he started going out every wednesday after work and now has started going out on the weekend too. I told him I have a problem with the weekend because that is our time as a family to work on things. But he says everyone else goes out more and it is no big deal. He has been asking me not to argue with him but I can't seem to stop myself. I am so scared and so unsure of really where he is the relationship. He says he wants to try but doesn't do anything...he just keeps going out, keeps talking to whomever whenever and just ignores me. He says he isn't because he comes home everyday. I can't help but get so angry and and start to yell at him.

There are actually many women out there who love men being intellectual, sharp minded, cultured, well groomed without looking ridiculously "teenage retard like" or looking camp "david beckham like."
Lot of women appreciate a man who behaves like a gentleman, who is well educated, well spoken and can hold a conversation about diversified subjects.
So what is all that fuss about women who are "always" attracted to immature, extremely shallow men with embarrassing laddish behaviour?
I suggest that this has to be a particular demographic of women because to be honest, I dont know anyone who would like to be with a crusty or chav looking, thick, horrible spoken manners, lad mags loving, flash cars loving, only impressed by financial success and tarty girls, boozy etc etc ... Where are the charming and intellectual men have gone???

When I was a teen I made mistakes and they were harsh and cruel. I apologized sincerely, but for 6 months I was punished and though I pleaded for their trust and forgiveness they were extremely cruel and didn't give. Now I'm 23, a biologist, doing well in my life, the girl they wanted. But since my teen years I've been so resentful that I avoid them and haven't seen them for more than 4 years. For 3 months they've kept callng me every day, want to fix our relatioship, say they love me, all that crap. This is getting on my nerves. They are part of a past I want to forget forever,want to delete this bad file. Told them to leave me alone and that I want them out of my life, but they keep insisting.
