I clicked onto Yahoo! this morning and found a story about the Catholic Church abandoning the concept of limbo after hundreds of years of teachings. How can you trust a faith that, on a whim, decideds that one of its most critical teachings is false? Do you really think that, just because the Pope says so, that God, will just let all these poor souls into the light. That would mean that the Pope holds the power over God and the decisions he makes. That makes absolutly no sense to me. Why is it so hard to accept the idea that God is an all loving being, that will love and accept us no matter what our faith is? There are literaly millions of people in this world that have never heard of God... do you think they suffer just because their culture doesn't include our belief system? God loves them all, and doesn't descriminate. But now I'm preaching...
Please share your view, or opinions. I'm truely interested in what others feel on this subject. Thank you!
